  1. NFL network should be re named Patriots network, every time I tune in they are talking about N.E.

There are more teams in NFL, It's getting ridiculous!

It's going by week. Last week it was all Packers.

  2. Have to agree with that. Any defensive oriented coach would have loved that game. That was the definition of a perfect defense. Well, almost perfect, they did give up one touchdown ;) haha

But the average NFL fan likes excitement and suspense. There's something spectacular about the champion being decided on the last drive/play of the game. The ball is up in the air, it's gotta travel 45 yards down field, if they catch it, they win, if not, the other team wins. There's a build up and then burst of excitement (for example, watching Vinatieri kick a game winner) or anger and heart (Tyree stick the ball in his helmet/ Welker drop a game winning TD).

Can't believe you didn't use niners seahawks as an example!! :P Some of the finishes you get in football are what sets it apart from other sports, IMO. Unfortunately the super bowl often doesn't live up to the hype(especially this year, #1 O vs #1 D, Manning, Sherman). I know I'm bias but I thought it was an amazing game, Pete Carroll said it, "nothing was going to stop them." And correct me if I'm wrong but if the super bowl is any indication, it seems the AFC and NFC are on different levels right now. Wondering your thoughts on this.

  3. From a neutral point of view of a fan of the game of football, that was not a good game. For Seahawks fans, it was the greatest game ever played. For Broncos fans, it was the worst game ever played. For the rest of the football loving fans, it was a snooze fest. I missed the half time show cause I changed the channel to watch Fight Club since the game was 23-0 or something and then got so into the movie I forgot about the game until the 4th quarter lol

While I agree with you that from a nuetral standpoint, the game probably sucked. But, believe it or not, I have heard a few people in the biz say they really enjoyed the clinic put on by the Seahawks. A game plan really couldn't be executed more perfectly.

  4. Thanks NPF. Its been a crazy few days for sure...I've been pretty much glowing since Sunday. Yes lots of bandwagon Hawks fans recently but I think 2011 Nucks cup run severly trumped with bandwagoners...at least where I am. So many people who we cheered with in 2011 couldn't even tell you who the coach is this year. That's just how it is, people wanna be part of something special...which this season truly was for the Hawks and 12s.

I just wanna know where Canucks_fo_life is?? Wouldn't shut up about the Ravens last year and now the Hawks win and he is MIA. Pretty sure I saw him whinning on twitter about the Seahawks media coverage...hypocrite??

Seahawks super bowl champs has an awesome "ring" to it!! And no more "how many rings??" jokes when I wear my jersey out!!! Wooot!!! Gunna soak this one up.

But I really don't think anyone should be talking dynasty. Heard that word come up quite a bit now but I hate hearing it. Yes this team is geared to be good for a time....still getting out of the NFC is a battle and you can bet niners are pissed, possible injuries, etc etc....way to many variables to be even close to dynasty talk.

  5. Figures people on Caniucks board are throwing out choker title at Manning. Legit wasn't his fault this game, his O-line got torched and he didn't have time. The denver defense finally put up a performance that everyone thought they would when it mattered. They stopped Lynch, but they didn't do anything about open recievers. And that Harvin return, and the touchdown after that was absolutely brutal.

Manning didn't have a chance. I don't think you could put Brady or Rodgers behind that O-line and expect them to put up over 50 points. The weapons didn't show up big enough, Manning amusingly broke a completion record in a SB, but when you can't even get open deep, and your O-line doesn't give you time to make plays, on top of your D just being hideous? Yeah, game over.

Seahawks offence was severely under-rated going into this game as well. It got brushed aside that in the games leading up to the super bowl, Seattle faced some of the best D's in the league. And I don't think Denver faced a top D all season. I know it was probably a boring super bowl for Broncos fans and those otherwise emotionally uninvested...but it's one of my fav super bowls and not one I will soon forget.

  6. ignorant comment... we are hockey fans, thats why we are on this board...

everyone and their dog wants to be a hawks fan right now, even people who dont know anything about football... nobody likes a bandwagoner,

stfu dude...there were sooo many bandwagon Nucks fans in 2011. Thats how it is in sports...go cry somewhere else.

  7. Manning is one of the few likeable superstars of any sport, especially football. Hope he wins and wins and wins.

Seems kind of silly to go for Seattle just because they are in the same region, but not at all 'local.'

don't care if they are the underdog or not (it certainly doesn't seem it around here, everyone is psyched and convinced of their win), I hope Broncos trample them

Can't blame Seahawks fans for being psyched but anyone who follows football knows how dangerous Peyton can be. If Seattle D isn't on their game, super bowl could get out of hand fast. The Seahawks don't have a player that has ever played in a super bowl so controlling excitement and adrenaline is key(early and late in the game). I'll be looking for the Bronco's to really push early on.

That all being said, if the D is on top of it early and Lynch can bottle up all that crap he's taken all week and destroy his way through Bronco's D line...Seahawks got a great shot at it!! Percy Harvin back could be huge as well(just hope he keeps his head up).

I am sure there are some Seahawks fans up here that are just rooting for the "local" team(not sure why thats a problem in the first place, even if it's not technically local). But a lot of us cheer for Seattle because thats where we go to watch sports that aren't in our local area. Are Canucks fans in Prince George silly too?

  8. Ask the original shipper for the tracking number. You should be able to enter the number on the UPS website and see the last place that it was scanned.

Yah I have the UPS tracking number but the info is pretty limited. It just says that a case has been opened, it's a 1 pound box and that it's going to Nanaimo. I don't think its been scanned at all with UPS yet she told me it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. :(

  9. Anyone have any issues with nfl shop? I ordered a jersey last week and it seems to have gone missing. It started with landmark global in Michigan and once it got over the border into Canada it went with UPS. Called UPS and they said it should have been delivered yesterday...and to call the shipper. Landmark global only has an email so I'm waiting for a response from them. Just wondering if anyone else has had problems and any advice?
