  1. I think we've got something in Bruskewitz and Mynio, they looked very calm and poised with the puck, it will be fun to watch them develop.

Hirose and McWard looked NHL ready. I see them both competing for a spot on the opening lineup.

I said before the game that I expect Mcdonough to dominate and he did. he looked so confident out there and looked kinda faster than last season.

Tolopilo looks like another Ian Clark gem.

Klim/Raty/Bains could play some games in the NHL this season as call ups, I'm pleased with their development.

  2. If we want to clear cap now and in the future, the best trade option is Garland because of the term he has left. We don’t need to trade Beau, he’s on a cheaper contract and is a UFA by the end of season. There’s no denying Garland is better but Beau is more versatile of the two because he can play all forward positions. there’s no rush to trade him now when we can move him at the TD for a better return.

We also need to make space for Hogs/Podz/McDonough just in case they have really good camps. another redundant player we have is Studnicka, I don’t even have him on our starting roster I could see him being moved in a minor trade.

i'm hearing about the Vegas rumors. man, if it's true, we just can't seem to hold on to our best players. If Petey's gone, I'm assuming Hughes will be next to want out. Aquilini not being able to be patient has forced him to be even more f**king patient. Karma's a bitch. He wants to be competitive and took shortcuts, and now probably is forced to have to do a proper rebuild anyways. f**k THAT MAN.

Quinn seems like an honest and loyal guy to me and he did sign a pretty long deal to stay with us recently. give him the C and quality partners and I could see him being a Canuck lifer.

Bedard signing with us when he's 25/26 wouldn't hurt either. :emot-parrot:
