  1. I used to take one once a week, and yea, they take quite a while to fill up, so i usually just shower. I do it alot when i'm sick though, the sweat kills the cold :o

Some guy at work told me that oil of .. something.. now I can't remember.. oh darn it, nevermind.

I just drink orange juice (to cure a cold).

  2. That was actually my theory, but is it true? Even under water? I haven't tested it

    Go try it.

    It works.

Get a clear glass cup, dunk it in upside down, and wiggle your hand around inside it  It'll be all air if you do it right.

EDIT: aw crap, double post. sorry :(

  3. unfortunately, no  not when all my deep knowledge is based on nothing that matters

hey so im watching Pirates of the Caribbean and i never understood how they did that boat thing... Will and Jack Sparrow are underwater but they're holding a boat upside-down and for some reason there's an air bubble :o ?!?!?!

Hey I used to do that all the time while I was washing dishes.. if you force the cup upside down into the water.. all the air inside is kept in there :D

Did I just make any sense?

  4. Wow, I had no idea it would snow more today. I don't see how it's going to go from this blizzard to 8 degrees tomorrow (and flooding along with it). Why can't it just stay at 0 so we can enjoy the snow a bit more.. :(

  5. Today afternoon at Granville Station, the platform for the skytrain heading eastbound is jam packed. There were hundreds if not thousands. Instead of waiting hours to catch a ride, I took the skytrain heading westbound to Waterfront, then from Waterfront, I head eastbound. I'm smarter than the average person.

A lot of people do that.. haha

but congrats on beating the crowds

  6. Still snowing hard.. our sidewalk/stairs was shovelled this morning, when I woke up and looked out the window, I couldn't tell - except for the fact that there was only 1cm on the shovelled parts, and I knew it snowed more than that..

Please let it snow right until tonight :D

  7. The storm that brought heavy snow this weekend to Greater Vancouver has moved to the southeast.

Tonight colder air will move down the valley again keeping temperatures below the freezing mark. Our next storm will come out of the Gulf of Alaska and down the BC coast to bring us another round of heavy snow starting near midnight on Tuesday night (or early Wednesday morning). Snow, heavy at times, will continue all day on Wednesday and will likely ease off on Wednesday night. Estimated accumulations will be between 15 and 25 cm.

We may see a possible flurry or two on Christmas Day but it should be mostly dry. Friday our next storm comes in to bring wind, heavy snow, and then a change over to rain. Saturday will likely be showery but colder air and more snow likely by late Sunday or Monday. The long range forecast for next week looks to be more of the same as last week: COLD and MORE snow.

    SWEET. SOURCE? :D

  8. Just recently, I noticed a greater amount of my bus drives talking on CELL PHONES. before, I NEVER saw this at all. What's the deal?? I thought it was illegal to talk and drive at the same time.. not to mention my driver, today, MISSED a stop because he was talking on his phone (in some foreign language) - and this was an express bus too, where missing a stop can mean the difference between 1 block or 10 blocks.
