Sometimes, I actually wish people on the buses had the balls to tell people like you to gtfo. Your type of people is just one of the reasons why Translink feels it has to increase the bus fares.

Lucky I take the 41 Joyce Station or 43 Joyce Station express.. There's usually no transit cops there... Then I stop at Fraser and take the #8 home.... But the one thing I hate about the Fraser bus is that IT TAKES SO FUKIN LONG TO COME!!! They come in like pairs or triplets.... I'm like WOW YOU IDIOTS!!! Why can't one of you idiots just drive ahead
And the one thing I hate about the 49 is that it ALWAYS stops at Langara College for like half an hour.... Pisses the fuk outta me when I try to go to Metro for the weekend
Hey man, chill out. You're not the only one who experiences bad connections and transit system waits.
The 41 always stops at Fraser and the 49 stops at Langara I think because of the high volume of ridership at both stops.. gives a chance for people to catch the bus.. i'm sure you'll be thankful for it one day when you're getting off a perpendicular connection and you're running late and the bus doesn't pull away before you get there.
Speaking of the 41/43, I've had transit cops hop on and check maybe once or twice now. You'd better be careful, I'm sure a bus driver will stop you sooner than later.

Personally I like the isolated throne seat... I don't have to be subjected to other peoples' loud one-way cellphone conversations, bad B.O., overdone cologne/perfume, and/or smoker smell (for lack of a better word).

Freaky. Though I know there's a topic on it.
I wanted to tell my sister's coffee lady story though.
My sister was sitting on a bus recently (from UBC I think), so it was pretty crowded, and this lady (let's call her Sarah) was trying to get to the back and said "Excuse me," to this other woman (Christina). Now I don't know if Christina didn't move at all or if she didn't move enough because Sarah was slightly overweight, but Sarah just decided to barge her way through. So Christina, disgruntled, said something along the lines of "What was that for?!" and then Sarah said, "Well I said excuse me." Anyways, I kind of don't remember what exactly was explained to me at this point except that Christina said the b-word, and Sarah said the c-word (!) but eventually Sarah splashed her coffee on Christina (and a few others who were sitting around this unfortunate incident, including my sister) and then Christina said "Real mature!" and then Christina got off the bus. So one of the random people who were splashed asked, "What the hell was that for?" and then I can't remember what happened but Sarah got off the bus and another guy was like "Watch out! She might be getting more coffee!"
I was pretty amazed. And apparently Sarah looked like she was 40. What the hell...
Which UBC bus route #? If it's my bus, and "Sarah's" a regular rider, I'll be wary of any above-average coffee-sporting ladies on the bus from now on..

Nitro, did some guy's house use to be where the station is now? I was surprised that it's actually not on the road, but off to the side. Didn't think there was so much space there before.
