  1. Yup, he's going to make some big plays at times that the team really needs it. Just has that sort of TL-character about him.

i'm actually ready to see him work on the pp with either Vrbata or the sedins. i think he's proven he's ready

  2. lol, totally. he seems like a real frugal small town guy. really down to earth. currently borrowing a car, how frugal can you get.

he has an audi in london, i'm sure he'll upgrade soon lol

  3. I think being in the NHL as a rookie helped him so much more than going back to junior. In junior, he would've learned bad habits skating circles around kids, but learning the NHL game with two veterans solidified his already solid defence, and now that he's used to the pace, can work on generating NHL offense.

One person who benefitted from Bo not returning to London is Max Domi. He's grown as a leader and matured, whereas Bo was already that way. I think just being in the NHL and being in the locker room helps, being productive is a bonus and his game is growing

  4. Can't believe how much Bo has stepped up lately, with limited minutes. He's been amazing in the 200 ft game, clearly able to hang with the big guys if given a chance. It's exciting having him and our other prospects coming up. I said it when he was drafted, and i'll say it again, this is the type of player you win Stanley Cups with. Willie seems like he's putting alot more faith in him lately. I'm confident that by the end of this year, we'll see
Bo get a try out on the 3rd or even 2nd line. Earn your minutes.

  5. aha yes he has indeed been playing well as of late. Its nice to hear from you. I just assume once you leave cdc you die. Im glad your still alive.

    Rip gumball

been working a lot more, haven't even been to many knights games lately... only like 3 this season. domi has played a totally different game without bo there

  6. I noticed the London Knights won a game 11-1 last night...Proving more that Bo just doesn't really need to be there for that. But at the same time we have a very deep bottom 6 this year. I'm glad im not the one making these decisions :P

They've scored 52 goals in their last like.. 8 games haha. Slow start, then BOOM. I think Bo is staying, but if he comes back, London will beat out Erie.

  7. I'm sure Florida wants to trade the 1st about as much as we want to trade the 6th and Shink.. but the positives outweigh the negatives. reality is that he hasn't played in a crucial year of development, and we don't know how well he will recover. If that's the offer they want, i'd take it. Reinhart is a can't miss prospect, he's not a superstar on crosby or stamkos' level, but with him and Horvat down the middle, i feel much more confident in our future.

  8. I know it would be hard to retain the 6th and move up for SR, but it is possible I guess provided Kesler is involved, and is willing to waive his NTc to go to FLA, or BUFF.

    To Buffalo:

    Kesler, 36th, Schroeder, 2015 2nd

    To Van:

    2nd overall

    Future Canucks:

    Shinkaruk Reinhart Kassian

    Nylander Horvat Jensen

    Gaunce Cassels Fox

Thats a big, skilled, two way line up.

i love how optimistic our fanbase is that EVERY prospect will pan out.

I'd try to aim for the Islanders 4th overall pick. They need to start winning, and ownership will want success when they move to Brooklyn. If we can get Bennett, Reinhart, or Draisaitl.. i'm happy

  9. I enjoy your posts quite often I just disagree on this point. I have been keeping an eye on this guy since training camp. He looked slow . He could keep up with the play but that is about it. Its hard to stand out or be effective as a high end 1st rounder that way.

He got off to a good jump this year but he has some high end overagers to play with in London. He tailed off and his playoff performance was not very good. Even if he was injured, his footspeed is making me sweat bullets. Hes got a great 2 way game but he needs to shed 10 pounds and work on his quickness.

He was drafted for his 2way game.. 1C was never the expectation.

  10. Uh, yes killer. As the entire last line of my original post that you quoted states- I certainly do hope we keep Bo. I'm just raising the point that when you change 75 % of the management/coaching structure of a franchise that changes in player personnel are soon to follow. Out of all of our players Bo is right up there with Kesler as having the most trade value, would you not agree ? Anyways, lets hope Benning and Linden see him as part of our future and not as trade bait to obtain a player to get us in the playoffs this year.

I know what you meant, i was just bringing up your post as reference.

  11. I'm not in as much of a panic as some seem to be to get Bo into the big club, but I can't help but wonder whether or not we will ever see him with the Canucks. One of the by-products of a change in management is a change in playing style. Who's to say Benning doesn't decide that the only marketable assets we have in order to get "his kind" of players are Bo and Hunter. I certainly hope we keep Bo, he may not be ticking all the boxes yet but I see loads of potential there.

well, he just cleared that one up. he's a big fan of bo, thinks he's the player who will lead our future
