The vaccination does ZERO to keep anyone else safe besides yourself, and the evidence is even showing this to be false as time goes on. Looks to be a future of boosters every 3 months for life....to keep you "safe"

Past week, cases per 100,000 population after adjusting for age (Dec. 21-27)
- Not vaccinated: 318.5
- Partially vaccinated: 82.6
- Fully vaccinated: 257.6
Past two weeks, cases hospitalized per 100,000 population after adjusting for age (Dec. 14-27)
- Not vaccinated: 17.5
- Partially vaccinated: 0.0
- Fully vaccinated: 1.2
Yea it's not doing much for cases anymore, but look at those hospitalization numbers.
How has vaccination propelled the spread. You make it sound like the vaccine is increasing the transmissibility/infectivity of the virus, which is silly. The virus mutated and, as a result of that mutation, has increased it's transmissibility/become more contagious. Vaccination also keeps *everyone* safe by keeping people out of the hospital so that tests/procedures don't get pushed back due to the hospitals overcrowding with severe covid patients.

September deaths in the US peaked at around 2000 per day (14,000 a week).
The graph posted shows about 2300 excess deaths in a two week period.
What's the concern regarding 2300/28000 deaths (less than 10%) in that age group? Especially since when you go to the data sets, it's easy to see that red, unvaccinated states have generally higher spikes in death rates than vaccinated states.
Your question has its answer.
If vaccines increased death they would be stopped, immediately. They don't and have shown benefit in all age groups over 5 years old.

Look at that effectiveness.
BC's population is just over 5 million. If everyone was vaccinated, 1/100,000*5,000,000 = 50 people in ICU.
If everyone was unvaxxed 23.8/100,000*5,000,000 = 1,190 people in ICU, overrunning the system
One of the main reasons we have restrictions is to not overload the medical system. The unvaccinated (who are also, generally and conveniently, anti-restrictions) are the #1 reason why they can't have what they want (no restrictions).

Incorrect. Vaccination was tested and shown to have 90+% protection, at the time, against serious illness caused by covid. It is much less effective at protecting from catching the virus.

I'm ok with Rutherford as long as he doesn't hire Botterill to be the GM. Botterill was terrible in Buffalo and was part of the Seattle group that made all those awful selections to build their team.
Botterill sucks.

Hallelujah finally Green and Benning gone. An end to a terrible era. Hopefully the next one is more promising.

MVP - Hughes and Garland can share this award, One forward and one defenseman. Very happy with Hughe's improvement in his defensive play this year.
Surprise - Garland for sure. One for his production but also his production relative to Petey and Boeser.

Looks like if a Michelin starred restaurant hired a bunch of 16 year old high schoolers to be the chefs and waiters to save money and then are shocked when the business starts failing. It's clear the Aquilini's expertise doesn't expand to anything other than real estate.

Cochrane reviews, Meta-analysis', and systematic reviews (the best types of research) have all shown that ivermectin is non-beneficial. There's no argument to be had until the research shows that's it's effective.
Ivermectin will get used once it's shown to be worth it. Until then, it sits on the sidelines.
