The overall end product of it is usually terrible but everyone can tell who the weak links were and who the leaders were. Never fear.

Forced human interaction has value. In life you have to deal with all sorts, best learn the sub-types. I'd agree if you said postgraduate. Undergrads need group assignemtns.
