See I disagree with you there. You could toll EVERY highway exit (similar to Florida) and I personally wouldn't drive 1 second less.

I disagree with this to a point. I have no problem with tolls on all bridges... but make it more reasonable....$3.90 without a transponder to cross Golden Ears, is IMO excessive. Toll all bridges, $1 each way, IMO would "even" out the charges and make them less impactful. But I don't agree with providing money to people who use cars for a living. They made that choice to do that.

You have to be joking? So in 5 - 10 years we will have Port Mann ( new bridge), Golden Ears, AND pattullo ( new bridge) ALL TOLLED. So we are left with Alex Fraser and Mission bridges... yikes.

I agree... this thread should just stay Translink related... i.e. skytrain, buses.

You would think that they would want to make the Canada Line trains more "traveller" friendly. Giving more room for luggage and suitcases, but it's ether packed seating or a big open area with NO where to hold on.... maybe sit on your suitcase in that open space?

There's a park and ride at Sportplex in Walnut Grove. There's AMPLE parking at williowbrook mall, where the Route 502 goes by every 15 minutes to King George Skytrain Station. Ladner/Delta has Ladner Exchange, and South Delta recreation centre. http://www.translink.bc.ca/Commuting_Options/park_ride/ The funny thing is you keep on asking for a LRT system into Langley. When it is already proposed and in the works, albeit a long time away. But different projects are the forfront because they will affect more populatin (i.e. Evergreen, and UBC line).

UM No. Any time there is any sort of snow fall, there are multiple news stories about SFU closing due to the snow, also many people getting stuck on the hill. Why do you think they are thinking of building that Gondola? That is sub-par. A university should not close because of 10cm.

.... it's really not that much snow. The only concern I would have, is if you were at SFU, as they have sub-par snow removal.

What mostly upsets me.... Is the inversion in temperature that was going on for 2 weeks. Causing all the snow that had just Fallen on Whistler/Blackcomb to melt. Then the temperature plummeted causing all the slightly melted snow to freeze... so it was like a bloody Ice rink.... and now... I have to deal with snow here, when all I really want is more snow THERE /rant

Probably not... people will always find ways to complain about things, even though they shouldn't.

I wouldn't be too concerned... it's next week, which is always hard to perdict more then 5 days in advance. And it says the highs for the day will be between 2-5 C. That's rain weather, maybe some snow in the middle of the night, but mostly just rain

It's official... my car is stuck. The wonderful plows buried it in icey snow. Got it moving. then it got stuck again I've spent over 2 hours trying to dig it out. With no luck.

... just stop snowing..... leave the stuff on the ground.... but just stop...
