  1. WE need Crosby...He would've made a huge difference in this game. Put Crosby with the Sedins or Kesler and we would easily win this game.
  2. Am just hoping Burrows gets back soon, because the Sedins haven't played good in a long time.
  3. Canucks just can't beat the Kings. They are bigger than us, faster than us, grittier than us and have more skills than us. Their goalie is one of the best, they dominate us in the faceoffs and they beat us along the board with their size and skill. I just don't see how the Canucks can beat the Kings if we face them in the playoffs. Not even Hasek in his prime could help us because he would be facing 50 shots in each game of the series. I can see the Kings and Blues in the Western Finals.
  4. The hell are you talking about? The game hasn't even finished and your off the bandwagon? Canucks fans are some of the stupidest with comments like this. Cry some more
  5. Don't think we will be bumped out of the first round. I can just see the Canucks being a dark horse this year due to Torts coaching this team. In fact, they might surprised everyone and go deep into the playoffs.
  6. This is where Gillis mistake of letting Ehrhoff go is magnified. When Ehrhoff was here, we had the best PP in the league. Putting Ehrhoff, Kesler and Sedins with Hamhuis or Bieksa would've made for a lethal PP. No way our PP would be this bad if Ehrhoff was still here. Maybe they could trade Edler for Ehrhoff
  7. Our PK is brilliant, the best in the NHL while our PP is one of the worst in the NHL. I still can't figure out what the Sedins and Kesler are doing differently than previous years to make our PP look worst than the Flames PP.
  8. It doesn't explain why they have the #1 PK in the NHL. It was Higgins fault for not clearing the puck out of the zone and just blindly backhanding the puck and praying for the best.
  9. Are you new to the gym? Maybe he is just admiring your workout routine lol
  10. That seems excessive. How much do you weigh? Minimum protein intake is 0.36-0.525g/kg/day and optimal for adult male is about 0.8g/kg/day. Professional athletes looking to gain muscles while working out intensively would require 2.0 g/kg/day. The fact that you are getting 100 g of protein from just shakes, it seems a bit too excessive especially if you aren't one of those Mr. Olympia guys.
  11. Well, I don't take any forum seriously but CDC isn't really that great either, if you want to compare it with other forum. There are some good posters here but the majority are similar to what I find in the youtube comment section.
  12. And the CDC off-topic forum is? I'd probably take the Yahoo comment section more seriously than CDC off-topic section which is filled with pre-teens and kids who haven't even entered high school yet.
  13. If it wasn't for Lu, the Canucks probably wouldn't be the goalie factory they are today. I mean we can take as long as we want to develop our young goalies such as Schneider, Lack, Cannata, Ericksson etc. without having to rush them. This would give us a chance to develop them than trade them for top 10 picks and prospects. Only 2 more years for Lack to develop into a starting goalie. Then we could either trade Luongo or Lack for another top 10 pick. Not a bad strategy by Gillis, since it gives us the option of getting top 10 picks while still being competitive and making the playoffs. Gillis should just keep finding these gem goalies either through draft or FA. Its the perfect asset management.
  14. Edler for Bobby Ryan would've been a great trade. Too bad that didn't happen. Sedin-Sedin-Ryan Higgings-Kesler-Santo Burrows-Schroeder-Hansen Booth-Richardson-Kassian That forward corps would have made us a guaranteed cup contender. Perfect mix of grit, skills, size, toughness and character. 2 shutdown lines and all 4 can score goals. This lineup would at least have 6-7 20 goal scorers with 3 that could hit 30-40 goals. Ryan, with his size and skill could elevate the Sedins play and would've probably been the best 1st line in the West.
  15. This is like crashing your BMW or your Lexus and then regretting that you spent money on buying your car after you crashed it. Seriously, what a stupid comment. Would you also say the same thing if a Sedin got injured?
  16. What process is that? The styloid process or the mastoid process? Maybe it was the condylar process.
  17. The reason why you can't play hockey with a broken jaw is because it won't heal properly. A broken jaw might affect the TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) if the height of the mandible was affected depending on how much it was displaced. Now, playing hockey can be stressful and the mental stress or anxiety can cause grinding of the teeth which would cause displacements in the jaw and put more pressure on the TMJ (assuming the height of the mandible was affected). The constant force of grinding would not allow the jaw bone to heal properly due to the force of tension and compression. Aside from that factor, you also have to know that you also run the risk of getting punched in the face or have external impact to the jaw due to hits. This would definitely cause a setback in the healing process of the broken jaw or might even cause a bigger fracture which would make it worst.
  18. I wish it was at 7 AM so I could watch it in 15 minutes. Its almost 10:45 PM here and I've got school tomorrow. I can't watch it at 2 AM lol
  19. Too bad most Vancouverites don't know how to drive in the snow, even with an all wheel drive. You will get to work late either way due to the traffic caused by a little bit of snow.
  20. Guys, its time to put your snow chains on
  21. The only thing that I don't miss about Vancouver. The cold, rainy, overcast, dark and depressing weather that sometimes can turn from mild cold to freezing cold. At least the typhoon season is over in the Philippines and we can get more dry weather now. Like the fact that its constantly 25 degree celsius and above and mostly sunny.
  22. Trade Edler and Higgins for Voracek and Reed. Then get Erat for Booth and Orlov for Schroeder. Sedin-Sedin-Voracek Erat-Kesler-Burrows Hansen-Santo-Read Weise-Richardson-Kassian Orlov-Hamhuis Bieksa-Garrison Tanev-Stanton Luongo Lack
  23. If Erat has the same skill set as Higgins, then tell me why Washington traded Forsberg for him last year? If he was the same as Higgins, then Washington would've traded only a 4th round pick for him.
  24. Maybe not but they might have a fighting chance to at least make the playoffs. Who do you think we could get that would be an impact player without trading any of Edler, Hamhuis, Bieksa, Garrison, Sedins, Kesler, Kassian, Burrows and Luongo? Tell me? Who is available that can make our team go deep into the playoffs? Who is this magical player?
