lol you think the teams around the league really give a f about the incident?? if they were serious they would have made a statement out of chicago and took away their 1st last year or multiple first or even force the owner to sell the team.. the rest of the NHL didn't complain about it aka sorry it made the news but we don't really care about it.. and you are pinning it on a 22 year old at the time lol.. most 22 year old today probably still doing stupid sh*t and can't make a proper decisions themselves... if he wasn't the captain.. then he'd less scrutinized like kane?? because the organization slapped the captaincy on a guy that's probably way too young to be a captain therefore it's all his fault everyone else is not as culpitable as he was?

The good old boys didn't do anything to Chicago about the incident.  They rewarded them by fixing the 2023 draft so they can draft Bedard.

Canucksdaily reporting a crazy, unbelievable offer for Hanifin.
    ‘Garland (1M retained), Hoglander, 11th OA, 3rd and 2X4ths.
    Ridiculous crap that.
(Also that we are in for sign and trade for Barbashev extended for 8)

I like that it sounds we are being aggressive don’t believe the first though.

Barbashev is only 27 years old.  He is build for the playoffs.  Get rid of some of the soft forwards on the Canucks.

  3. Trade for Vegas's 4th line.  The best 4th line in the playoffs.

    Carrier      6'2  218 lbs    18g  2g 2a 4pts +0   42 hits

    Roy          6'4" 205 lbs    18g  1g 8a 9pts +3   38 hits

    Kolesar    6'2" 217 lbs    18g  2g 3a  5pts +1   65 hits

    More impressed with:

    Marchessault  18g  10g 8a  18pts  +14  49 hits

    Barbashev       18g   6g 10a 12pts +12  56 hits

Fan favorite Linden turned out fine for the Canucks.  He was one of the best leaders, captain ever for the Canucks.  Good luck to the stars tonight!

We can give you the 19th overall pick, a third and fourth round pick for Robertson.  We will throw in a herd of cattle from my hometown in the Cariboo.

And how things would have been different if the Stars selected Linden instead of Modano.  How much different would things be for the Canucks.  Champs instead of chumps.

I was with my ex from the time we were 14. Had two kids and he kept the party life going as I settled down. When we split, it was scary having the kids to care for on my own...he was pretty much MIA at that point and I was suddenly THE caregiver. But it was the best thing in my entire life, having them. They're incredible and I am so grateful to have them in my life. His loss.

Congrats on staying together...too many (of us) these days pack it in when it gets tough. And, for most people, it does get tough at times.

The way some of our recent D acquisitions are showing , (Hroneck, Hirose, Wolanin, Briseboise, McWard,  Juulsen ect) ,  I’m leaning to trading for Zadorov over signing Gavrikov.

Beau is a .75 ppg player now that he is getting opportunities with us.

Easy to call out JT ,  but he’s always been a ppg player with a full tool box,.  It the softness of fans in this city who like to “call out” a great player..   but playing at that level is hard to do.

I beleive his frustrations have been a conduit for the fan base here that wants to see more emotionally involved players,  I’m a huge JT fan,. Reminds me of the Smyl era,  which many here on CDC never witnessed.

I think JT is the closest Canuck player who plays like Rick Tocchet in his prime- less the fighting.

We need more physical, gritty players like JT.

I came across this clip,.    Have to admit,  what ever is ailing OEL ,   I’d be happy to see him back at full strength..   he has had a lot on his shoulders within our D core..

here sticking up for Podz, in his rookie year ,  as Bo does the “fly by” and stand down.

OEL should be the next Captain.  Wasn't McNabb the one wanting to tear Hoglander's head off.

Hoglander wasn't the same after that.

Only Danielson really makes sense for us out of the three, Moore will probably be a really good speedy 2 way winger at the NHL level but we are flush with wingers. Need a big two way center to play behind Petey or a top 4 dman. Moore and Petey as our top 6 centers are not heavy enough to have success in the western conference, especially come playoffs.

    1st round pick JT Miller

It's going to be such a Canuck thing to do when we  finish the year on a 4-1 run and watch Washington or St. Louis win the lottery.

Or finish as the 12th worst team, win the lottery and miss out on Bedard.
