Ninja Pro doesn't make your footsteps silent like the description says,it only reduces the noise by 4x (basically inaudible through your tv speakers)If you have surround sound or a headset like turtle beach (which has surround sound capability) you can hear them I just hit 4th prestige yesterday,My whole last prestige and this one have only been spent playing search and free for all because those are the only fun games left =/ Me and some friends were all using snipers today and the other team got destroyed a solid 10 or 11 games in a row.If anybodys interested in joining an all sniping clan "we>u" or a sniping/riot shield clan "L2P" just drop me a message.3/4 of the time we're playing search, the rest of the time is just spent in private matches fooling around.

I have ninja pro on every class, except my sniper when im playing team d.If you're playing search ninja is a must,I hate dying because some noob sees my teammate's dot but ends up killing me. 1)They have like 0 Range 2)When they start spraying,go prone because most likely they'll have had to reload by then 3)I just use the akimbo magnums when i snipe, and i only snipe in search and they're better than a shotgun imo.

thanks for the +1,kind of irrelevant But I usually play on 6-8 sensitivity when Im sniping and I don't usually have this problem. However, most of the time i'm quickscoping so theres not alot of time to auto-assist.My advice would be to practice quick scoping because it is by far the most effective way to snipe.

To be completely honest, most people shouldn't snipe when they're just starting out.Once you get a firm grasp of the game, how the perks work, what the maps are, where people generally spawn then I would say try sniping. Thermal is a waste on most maps when using sniper. The only one I would say you should really use it on is Wasteland, but even then I dislike it. General Comment: I've been sniping in the Call of Duty series since cod2 and bolt action snipers are by far my favorite.A good sniper is a sniper that doesnt have tunnel vision (i.e a pure hardscoper)The best sniper is a mobile sniper that can quickscope(not to be confused with no scoping) and hardscope for short time frames if needed.I was using intervention FMJ until i unlocked extended mags and it's the only attachment I really like. If you watch the youtube video's on sniping, you see alot of fancy kills and good killstreaks, but don't expect this if you're just starting out. Most people on youtube are "montage" players. Many of them go around quickscoping and trying to get noscopes for their montages.A Good sniper on your team is by far the most effective class, but also the most difficult.A sniper generally can pick people off at spawn points, and provide vision for their teammates because they're usually at a vantage point where they can see a big part of the map.

Varies on what map,but the ones i use mainly are. intervention extended mags & either usp akimbo or m93 rafica akimbo sleight of hand pro, stopping power pro,and steady aim pro w/claymore ump45 silencer and magnum tac knife marathron pro, lightweight pro, ninja pro. acr w/silencer and AA-12 Foregrip Scavenger Pro,Stopping Power Pro (or Cold Blooded pro depending on map), Ninja Pro w/claymore and I pretty much stick with a 5(predator missle),7(harrier),9(Pavelow) Kill Streak Setup.

Yeah, atleast in cod4 it didn't count as a death towards you. Only reason I can see it getting rid of your killstreak,is if you're in the enemy spawn and you're with somebody else and you're both gonna die,you could kill him to get to another spot and keep going.pretty cheap... I have no evidence to back it up,but I feel like I need to agree,It's still farther than a normal melee attack, but it doesnt seem to be as far if you were using a normal weapon. I'm at around 16,000 I feel your pain haha

Please don't use the M21. Quickscoping's easier than hardscoping anyways so stick with the intervention. [quote name=(:̲̅:̲̅l ̲̅l:̲̅' date='05 January 2010 - 11:02 PM' timestamp='1262757738' post='8178215] I think the ideal setup for a nuke is Assualt rifle with good accuracy and power ( i like the scar) shotgun or machine pistol (for close range people) claymores scavenger cold blood ninja (heartbeat sensors cant see you then) harrier-chopper gunner-nuke after u get harrier you have like a 75% chance of getting the nuke so when you get the harrier go find a hiding spot so u can use the chopper gunner i usually can find people with chopper gunners and ac130s so find a really good spot since theres always someone with cold blood coming after you wait till the harrier flies away then call in chopper gunner and your set
-
What killstreaks are you using? The Ideal setup is harrier->chopper gunner->nuke. I'd ditch bling and stick scavenger on so you don't have to run out of ammo.Cold blooded is useful if the other team has air support up but if im on a killstreak I usually take cover in a protected area or have my team shoot it down. Scar < ACR because of the bigger clip and the more accuracy.
