Was tough to send Neuvirth out, especially since he has split games 50/50 with Braden Holtby for the last three seasons, but eventually I had to make a choice, and Holtby is the Capitals netminder moving forward. Kiprusoff gives us experiences, and serves as a mentor for Braden Holtby in what looks to be Miikka's final season before retirement. The acquisition of Fucale solidifies the Capitals' goaltending future, and eases the pain of trading a young solidified goaltender. Best of luck to Michal Neuvirth in Calgary, where he will take over the Flames goaltending torch, and be a starter for years to come.
