    I agree that it doesn’t make sense to trade him, Toronto needs all the help on “D” they can get at this point. I also agree that we don’t need to jump the gun on trading a guy that’s had some ups and downs with puck luck. We’re good on D. I don’t think we need to add anyone at this point.

    I think both were on the radar but that’s just me. I don’t think we need anyone else.. sure as hell don’t need to pay for someone we know we won’t be able to afford. Or we would have already had Simmonds.

    I was iffy about the idea of Benning going after Bogs, now I’m stoked he’s where he is. But now, I’m worried we’re gonna go after Barrie.. and that would blow the chrome off a 57’ Chevy!

    I think this is hogwash.. if they couldn’t land Simmonds, and (to some) overpaid for Toffoli. I think a more suitable, and maybe cheaper route, may be Granlund.

    This is the answer I was looking for. I have always been “pro-tram” I just never seen anything satin fb he was coming or planned to come back. Mix that with the constant babble (since the day he left) that he was either staying or coming back. I think I’ll hold my load till I see something from people not CDC lol... but seriously!

    On a different note, is there ANY indication Tryamkin will make a return? I’m all for getting hot an heavy about it but I ain’t busting prematurely if it’s just “hopes and dreams”...

    Who does Jersey have that would be considered a vet? Aside from Zajac and PK.. As for the comment about Benning wanting picks; I agree. I would imagine that he would more than likely be asking for at least their 2nd...

    I wonder if we could swing Stetcher, Loui, and maybe Lind.. for Simmonds? I doubt it... I think Stetcher may be the odd man out... And I’ll say, even though he’s not scoring empty netters, it’s be a pleasant surprise seeing Loui get in the heat of things lately. Not scoring but his presence has been at least known..

    10$ says Kreider goes to Calgary for Lucic and a 1st... lol, but still, I could see him going to either of the Albertan teams.

    I’m 100% confident this is NOT the issue. It’s been said a few times now, we made this trade cause we need the depth. Sticking Baer or Goldy there would have hurt our chances. They tried and failed, now it’s time for someone new to get a crack..

    I mean, I get it.. I have learned not to get my hopes up. Do I want BB to stay, damn right! I am just not optimistic.

    I think this would be the ideal trade for the team and BB. But I just don’t think the Canucks have what minny would be asking... unless they took a “one for one” kind of deal. That being said, I just don’t see Minny taking BB with all the injuries he’s already had... guess we’ll have to wait and find out.

    I think it’s almost inevitable that Boeser with be traded. But it’s not going to happen until the off-season.
