The joy I get from watching Brady screw up is unmatched
He was pretty good as Johnny Bravo though.

Time to put Elway in to get the team back on track.

Horvat's great, but he is likely on the all star team because each team needs to be represented.

Great song from a great band, Cadillac Tramps. Sadly, the lead singer passed away last week.

One mistake and Lulay's out, Jennings back and a quick 0-2.
-
Grey Cup winner Lulay back tcb
-
Career loser Jennings again proving he can't get it done.

Well Calgary's a real good team....they need to play a full 60 minutes, get some balls on the target and be ready to play
-
Lions on but so is The Brady Bunch...remote getting a real workout.

They're going to be a hot ticket at Nat Bailey next season!

dont worry...we will find a way to lose...
But I think they'll have a good chance of making it to the conference semi finals!

He does it quite often..its not a one off.
But he will just say well we learned from this. Hope they can put it in the past and move on to the next cliche. Attendance next game may resemble a Nighthawks game.

Not sure that applies to Jake in the same way, just because of his blazing speed. If he was an average speed guy, I'd worry; not so with Jake.
I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps adding mass bit by bit for the next 5 years or so; then when he's getting to the point where he could start losing a step, start trimming down further at that point...
I don't recall Sandlak, Antoski or Stojanov, but I do remember when Sopel put on 40 lbs in an off-season! He said he was eating 8-10 steaks a day and just as much chicken. Sounded delicious.
Great points. Antoski skated well for his size, for the time....The thing is I think Jake is just 6'1".

How about creating chemistry of Etem-Horvat-Virtanen
Thats a lot of power and forecheck. If they could produce they'd be a great 3rd line.
223?! That's massive, and with his speed...he could quickly become a very rare player
Just wait...if he doesn't perform well you will hear about how he was too heavy. Does anyone recall Sandlak,Antoski and Stojanov having similar off season stories about how they bulked up and were going to be that much stronger...only to have them report to camp the season after slimmed down? Cue bass solo on this!

The fact that Jaco Pastorius isn't an option just means that this vote is a joke
Jaco can play, no doubt. Maybe the people just don't recognize it yet. There may be 20 others who just have captured the imagination of bassist enthusiasts already.

I'm glad to have found this thread.
There isn't one clear best bassist in my opinion.
Anthony Jackson is right at the top with Carol Kaye and Joe Osborn just behind....and Flea. Flea will be a legend in time...in time
I like Chris Wolstenholme and John Myung for contemporary bassists.
Carol Kaye, great choice. Though her memory is a bit odd.

are the two interchangeable?
Great question...I would guess many liberal arts majors become social justice warriors. Not always, but I guess many do.
