  1. Wow Tort is fired? Guess kind of saw that coming and let's say Tort's words bounced back onto himself, recapping his press conference on the reasons why he didn't start Lu for the Heritage Classic. Like he said, he needs to make a decision on who gives him the best chance in winning a game and management have to make a decision on which coach will be able to get the team the best chance in winning games, Torts is not it! Fired!! The truth is, Torts did brought in some good things for the team, the first half of the year, but after the Calgary incident and to further put the nail on the coffin, having Lu sitting there on the bench watching the Heritage game... ummm.. are you kidding me... take whatever reason he may have and shove it because that pretty much sealed his fate. I already called this out right after the Heritage Classic game. The team will spiral to the bottom and which it did. Yes the players are professionals and are paid to play their roles in the team, but I can assure you that they sure aren't playing with much heart for Torts especially after they saw how their bros in arms being treated. It's not the perfect example but look at Colorado! I bet you if the impossible permits and you ask each and every players there on the Colorado team, they play with their hearts for their coach, Pattie Roy. They respect him and vice versa. That's how a team win games. I am not saying the 'Nucks would win the cup this year if things were different but I am quite confident that if it wasn't for that Heritage Classic stunt and didnt trade Lu away and Lu actually plays the role as the #1 goalie for the 'Nucks, the team would have barely make it to the playoffs. As for some of you haters, no I am not a Lu fan and I am not dissing Lack, but Lack still have quite a few years to go and mature to become a cup contender goalie. P.S. hopefully we learn from the Cloutier era....
  2. I think I posted right after the Heritage game, this organization and team is going to sink. And for those think this is the rock bottom, not yet because it will continue to sink deeper. I don't know what is with this coach or whoever made him made all these amateur decisions but he just don't get the fact that the so far ALL your decisions SUCK and WRONG??? Maybe the only person needs to change is YOU in how to coach the team properly and make more sensible decisions? Ooops.. my bad, this is not going to happen, who are we kidding, Tort is the man!!! He will get the freshman to the top (Sorry not dissing Lack, but he's just not ready AS OF NOW yet to shine, in the future maybe but not now or tomorrow or next year). Anyways, anyone know which golf course most of the Canucks play at?
  3. Okay let's be honest and realistic here, Gillis did some good moves but also alot crappy deals and bs. BUT for the last 2 years, he really went downhill. I am glad he mentioned he's rebuilding the team to compete for the cup, but ummm.. let's see, the team is bad and will continue to get worse (I mentioned this on another post) probably for the rest of this season or the next one or next few in matter of facts. So like no kidding Sherlocks, aren't all the NHL teams' mission is to be a contender for the cup? So let's toss that out the window. And he goes on about building a younger and faster team, ummmm.. sure sure so that means there's going to be a horse race now? I am not going to go on and on, but let's face it, this team is done for for the next few years because this isn't a team anymore because clearly this organization is at a lost as of now. PERIOD
  4. no offense to those who still blame Lu for the lost of Game 7 of the SCF. but Seriously? If you know anything about hockey or sports, you would know that the goalie is not here to score goals? Come on, if you are going to say something at least say something that is logical or at least makes sense. Regardless, he's gone now and we can all wait for another 10 years or so to make it close to recapture that moment again... internet.. sigh...
  5. well, kind of saw this all coming together hahahahaha... it is really a bittersweet thing in a sense. I hate to see Lu go but very happy for a classy guy like him to pack his bags and leave the Canuck's organization and head back to Florida. As I was driving home, I have the sense that the Canuck's are heading toward the Dan Cloutier era. I am not discrediting Lack, I think in the near future he can be a great goaltender and only time can tell, but as of now, he still needs some veteran guidance and influences to get there and Canuck's roster is empty as of now for that. Just like I said on my last few couples, mark my words for it for this team, it is done for. I would say it takes about 5 years for a team to get all its crap together and rebuild and another couple of years to really get in there and be competitive. Well, at least look on the bright side, tickets to the Canuck's games will be cheaper and more affordable for those who haven't been to their games yet lol
  6. okay to make things short, here is what it all winds down to. Mr Tortorella is playing "Who wants to be a Millionaire coach" and he just used up 2/3 of his life lines; 1) "50/50" on all the decisions he made so far eversince he stepped foot into Vancouver and 1/2 of them just aren't working for the team 2) "ask the audience" well, so far 99% of the audience ranging from experts to regular Joes being asked about his recent stunt can tell you he got another wrong answer to the question. SOOOOOOOOOO.. last life line for him, "call a friend", well he better hope whoever he's calling or his buddy MG is calling will save them and the team from hitting the golf course early or he can pack his bags and fly far far far away from this city. honestly, who the heck really respects him anyways? He's just full of shiat, I mean he should at least do himself or save himself a tiny particle of respect and admit that his decision might not have been the best and move on rather then go on about he'll do it over again. Ummm.. if have to do it over again, I don't think it's your call anymore? Like I said, I don't see any players dressed in the 'Nucks uniforms will really want to play for this guy and they are not going to buy into his formula anymore. If the organization still want to save abit of hope for this team to go anymore before the Sedins and all the core players disappeared from this team, it's time to find a coach that will fit into the players after this season.
  7. Hahahahaha.. believe me, it was going to be longer but why bother wasting my time on telling the boneheads standing behind the Canuck's bench on how to win games when Mr John Tortorella wants to play God. Just like I said for the last couple of years, the current Canucks organization don't deserve Lu or AV or matter of fact any success for how they go about handling situations and the respect and gratitude they showed toward those individuals whom brought success to this current organization. If I am Lu I will pack my bags and leave this circus because this team is on the verge of collapsing and the only way for it to show some signs of life is to ummmm.. coaching staff change or all together both coaching and mangement personel change? The reality is, regardless if we are pros or not, at the end of the day we are all humans with feelings. After this total incomprehensive decision for the Heritage game, I don't know how many of the 'Nucks players are really going to put their heart into playing for Mr John Tortorella. PERIOD!
  8. hahahaha.. as a Canucks fan it's quite funny and hilarious because I really hate seeing all these garbage piling up. I think the last time I posted was telling everyone that they are bumping Cory's value before they trade him away cause Lu wasn't going anywhere and had people lashing out at me that no that is not going to happen and Cory is going to stay and such as. Anyways back to topic, I don't post much here and I am not here to write a novel so excuse my bad internet grammars and so on. As for the Heritage game, like honestly WTF? Are the people behind the coaching bench and upstairs making way too much money to think properly and had a few drinks too many? If Forest Gump is an actual person, he would probably made a more logical and better decision in who's going between the pipes for this game. Did the Lu-Cory soap opera wasn't a good learning curve in how to properly and efficiently buildup the players moral? Look, I am not frustrated on who's going to play which game or between the pipes, but this is a Heritage game which only happen so often at home ice (what once every 5-10 years if that?). Great that Lack is performing better then Lu (by the way I am not a Lu fan fanatic) and great that the coaching stuff or GM is letting him play more games, but this is the freaking Heritage game and honestly whether we win or lose it will not make that much of a difference on what place the team is in now cause the overall players moral just isn't around. Here's your so called #1 goaltender (Lu) who has been with the team for quite some time now and been with some of the players thru thick and think over the years and like it or not, he was one of the key players along with others who took the team to game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals and regular season conference champs. I am not saying he is deserving or not but he earned his place to be between the pipes for this game. Yes sure all the players are paid to play their game, but does the coaching staff or whoever even think for a second? This game is not about wining or losing to be honest, this game should be used as a golden opportunity for the boneheads making all the wrong decisions so far to cleanup abit get the players back into playing for the coach or whoever. After this, who the heck is really going to respect and play with their heart for the coach or the team if that's what you want to call it? It takes heart to win games and I don't see many 'Nucks players putting their heart out there for this 'Nucks coach now. For some of you who don't have the faintest idea of what I am talking about, watch some little leagues and see how they coach and play. Or if you look back at the days when you are playing for your high school team. You play harder and really put yourself out there when you have respect for your coach or have a better bond with him/her. Anyways, I am just blabbling away again and some of you probably lash out at me again or don't understand what I am trying to say or point out, but let my words speak for itself at the end of this season. hahahahaha.. P.S. 'Nucks coaching staff, get your head out of your arses and get your players hearts playing for you or start passing out the VIP discount cards to the players and yourself at the Vancouver golf course. (eye rolling) take notes you boneheads or feel free to call me up for psychology 101, but don't expect me to answer because I don't always have time for ignorance in this world. PSS. These are the decisions they paid the so called decision makers for, millions of dollars? Decisions that my pet turtle can draft out better? BTW don't go trading Lu away now unless you boneheads planning to rebuild the team now because trading Lu away means hitting the golf course early for the next couple of years but that shouldn't really happen cause you guys just signed the Sedins, so I say how about wake the heck up or do some management change instead I expect a cheque in the mail for this advice
