Most of the veterans have NTCs so that would be the lamest speech ever! Get their trade lists ready! They will have a good laugh at that. Did trying to trade Luongo and his NTC work out well?

A retool takes years. Only a fool expects am immediate retool. Minimum I would say is 6- 7 years, realistically.

What do you mean 'essentially'? 26 wins and 26 losses, what is that? Of course 9 of the losses were after regulation, but how many of the wins were? The bottom line is 26 wins and 26 losses.

Makes you miss the old division, right? It was great to have lots of games against Edmonton and Calgary.

Stop with the sarcasm. The Oilers have speed! This is not racing on skates, it's a hockey game and the Oilers stink at hockey. They just happen to stink while skating fast. Their owner apologized publicly yesterday for their incompetence and he should know! If the canucks have to take the Oilers serioulsy, that means that they are in their same part of the league and who is saying they have sunk that low??

And talk about suffering, it's endless. Betman is driving the NHL into oblivion. I mean they have to play bloody outdoor games in LA to get any fans. Everywhere you look, the stands are empty. And when was the last time a canadian team has won the cup? How many years in a row does Edmonton need to be a joke team, isn't it their turn to win? Why is Anaheim better than Edmonton with a worse line-up. It's endless.

I would say the refs influenced such antics by ejecting 8 players! That sure put an end to the antics of those guys.

Whatever way you look at it, one of the greatest wins in Canucks history. For sure, a win that will be remembered forever. The Canucks have now made it clear: they have the nastiest team in the league, coach included. Great to see how no one even looks at the Sedins sideways anymore.

I missed that. I mean I relooked at it and to me Bieksa didn't look that interested in fighting Westgarth but, you know, if the ref told him to step away, then of course he had no choice.

I see, so the ref got him to let go of Westgarth and go from centre ice to the boards where Smid was. OK, missed that.

He sure did, and then he walked away and let Lain take on Westgarth. That puzzled me a bit how he let Westgarth rag doll him for a few seconds and then stepped away to leave him to Lain.

I wish no one had restrained Torts, I bet he was going to take McGrattan on himslef. I mean if your coach can take on any opposition heavyweight, what does that say about the canucks new level of toughness.

That's a mistake, he fought Westgarth after Bieksa ran away from him as fast as he could which left Lain to take him on.

He often gets mistaken for the other Weber yes, I am sure.

Funny how Bieksa got Lain out of the face-off and then let him take on Westgarth while he took Smid, who is not a fighter. I mean why embarass him but pulling him away if he's going to take on Westgarth himself, I don't understand that move.

How about the way Kassian destroyed the calgary player Bouma with two solid punches! I bet by now every team in the NHL wants nothing to do with the Canucks.
