Hm, that helps transfer all the layers at once, but the animation isn't preserved. I still have to go to the animation window, make a new layer for every frame of the vid and then activate each layer individually. Thanks for the help though.

Can anyone suggest any good tutorials or filters for lighting effects?

Kind of hard to explain... I'll use some examples of my own work:

Obviously there has been some tweaking of the colour to change the feel of the lighting in all three avatars. However, I'm not that great at it yet and I always lose my creativity when it comes to thinking up different colours to experiment with because I don't know what looks good and then everything ends up looking the same.

I've been looking for tutorials or filters to help out, but unfortunately, I haven't been searching up the right keywords or they're just hard to find. Photoshop Elements 6.0 (I couldn't install my Photoshop CS on my Vista laptop) has a feature called 'Color Variations' that sort of relates to what I'm talking about, but it's kind of bland.
