Armada
Love Embraer One of my favourite planes is the 190. This doesn't mean their commercial jets will be made in the US?

aeromotacanucks
the Embraer is something that every Brazilian feel proud. because the world use our planes and now here too... remembering that during 1980-1990 the Embraer made (under license) many Piper Airplanes, such as Seneca, Navajo, Arrow, Cherokee-Six, Panwnee, Saratoga and Archer. all of them under "EMB" designation and with portuguese names (except the Seneca and Navajo who remained their names) many people don´t even note when they visit São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, between these 2 famous cities the next ERJ you will fly is being made there. São José dos Campos, they have an Airport there (SBSJ) with few Commercial flights and General Aviation. when you land there you really feel you´re landing on THE factory. and if for some reason you fly for Azul Airlines (the Brazilian Jet Blue) you really feel you´re landing on the "birthplace" of your airplane... also home of the EMB-120 Brasilia, EMB-110 Bandeirante, EMB-121 Xingu, ERJ-135,-145,-145XR and many military airplanes including the EMB-312 Tucano and the EMB-314 Super Tucano/ALX. it´s like land on Boeing Field in Seattle. but since isn´t International the air traffic controlers in SBSJ only speak portuguese...
