Neversummer Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 So many people are making a big deal about the number of penalties 23 called in 4 games against the Canucks. I checked boxscores and counted 8 power play goals on those 23 penalties. Our regular PK% in the season was 84%. If we could kill off PK's like we did in regulation, that would translate to only 4 goals instead of 8. As it was, our PK was a dismal 65%. To keep this in perspective, the worst team during regular season, the Panthers PK% was 74.2%. It wasn't the bad call in OT ... one major factor was our dismal overall performance, one of which is our PK%. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
