Weise, Raymond, Lappiere and the rest of our bottom 6 will NOT be back next season with the exception of MAYBE Roy and Sestito who I believe won't even make the team. Many people are also forgetting we have Ballard and Booth signed and are likely to keep atleast one if not both, most likely Booth. If Derek Roy will sign here for a lower cap hit per year he is the best guy available via non trade for the second line role with Kesler IMO With a Luongo salary dump/prospect type deal (just for contrast I'll say we move our 1st round pick and Luongo for a top 15 pick in this years draft and snag Max Domi) and we also move a D-man for a Forward (for giggles i'll say we move Edler for Oshie) my projected lines thus far are like so: Sedin Sedin Burrows Roy Kesler Oshie Higgins Domi Booth Kassian Gaunce Hansen Sestito Garrison Bieksa Hamhuis Tanev Ballard Corrado Schnieder Lack Thoughts?? ButterBean Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 I have a hard time thinking that Booth and Higgins will beat out Kassian and Hansen for a top 9 role. Defense looks a bit soft as well.
