Try doing that for an hour+ as you play video games. This was from back in the day before they had instant online review of games. You often bought stuff based on hype and cover art. You'd shell out $40 for a game because it was about your favorite TV show or had cool cover art. Then you'd get home and be stuck with a total crap game. My other favorites from NES: Metroid, Bubble Bobble, TMNT 2: arcade game, Double Dragon II, Dragon Warrior, Duck Tales, Mega Man II and III, and Contra. Contra is bloody expensive to buy used.
