key2thecup
Wow, and a slap on the wrist for Weber, WHO GRABBED THE GUY BY THE HEAD AND SLAMMED IT INTO THE BOARD, now if that wasn't a intent to injure I dont know what is. Hypocrisy
Tatanka
You're right he did get injured, if anything that's very lenient. Also Shea Weber didn't "slam" Zetterberg's head into the glass, getting pushed into the glass with a helmet hurts no where near as much as getting checked into the boards. Weber maybe exerted 150lbs of force with that push, but Bitz easily applied over a ton with that check.

key2thecup
It was hard enough to crack Zetterberg's helmet. I would say that was a tad more than a 'push', wouldn't you?

Tearloch7
^Agreed, also stop bitching about the Weber hit, all he did was push Zetterberg's head into the glass. Bitz's hit was stupid and reckless, lucky Clifford didn't get injured, otherwise that would've been easily 5-rest of playoffs.

Tatanka
It cracked the helmet in 3 places .. and the "physics professor", aka Tatanka, assures us it was nothing .. I, for one, will sleep much better in my zero-gravity chamber tonight ..
lateralus
How come you dont mention the spear to Luongos throat, i mean if you are so concerned about spearing. Richards gets a pass but Kesler doesnt.
key2thecup
No-one is saying Bitz didn't deserve his, people are pissed off at the hypocrisy of Weber's "punishment". So stop comparing it to Bitz hit, its about the fact Bitz is a unknown 4th liner so they can suspend him, but Shea omg he is a star and Nashville would be horrible without him so we cant suspend him... TimberWolf
Spear? Sticks flying around in a scrum is a little different than an intentional spear to the groin (unless you have video evidence on the contrary?) Let's not forget the highstick whiplash Rinne gave Kesler right before Burrows scored.
Tearloch7
Again, comparing a shove with 1 arm vs a full body check . if you guys think that Weber's push was more "dangerous" than Bitz full body check, then you need to get your highschool diploma. How about you strap on a helmet, and let someone slam your head into a wall with just his arm. Next, let that same friend run at you while driving his shoulder into you head. lateralus
What exactly are you going for here? You believe that Weber shouldn't be suspended because of a possible stick infraction that wasn't called in the Canucks game?
lateralus
Rinne? they replayed it and it showed Richards stick jabbing at Luongos throat from the srum when he was down. Lou was pissed and went after him and then the reff in the scum. You werent even watching the same game.
