Linden To Replace Vigneault?

Recommended Posts

I don't think you understand how it works. It is extremely rare that anyone goes straight into coaching in the NHL without working as an Assistant and in the junior and minor ranks first. Stan Smyl had to work his way through the ranks too (but it didn't work out for him in that role and he decided to work in other areas). Wayne Gretzky is my favourite player of all-time but how did going straight into coaching in the show turn out for him?

If AV gets fired do you think that Trev could coach the Canucks? I strongly support AV and love him, and frankly dont want to see him go, but lets say it does happen...

Is Trevor Linden or any other or any other former Canuck a likely replacement for Alain Vignault?

Smyl maybe??? I dont know...

Hell, if Salo retires I'd sure love to see him behind the bench! :bigblush:
