Alex the Great
Canucks are choke artists. It's just what they do. Every sport has one, they are the Chicago cubs of hockey.
Vansicle
i guess all i want right now is for kings to loose. which is probably not going to happen.
fall0ff
I don't like this accomplishment. I rather have them suck for three to four years and have a cup with them, then be successful for 40 years and have no cup.

Caboose
Probably. Its a god damn joke teams like LA have a path paved for them all the way to a cup. Vancouver's never had that type of help ever, and now LA is allowed all of a sudden to win their first cup ever, sick and tired of this crap. chicocanuck
Uh, hell no. How do any of you define "successful team"? Our 40 year history is full of mediocrity and underachievement. On what planet is that successful? Yeah, we've been to the Cup final three times, won the President's trophy back to back (in the last two years), but that's all we've done in 40 loooong years. The majority of our success has come in the last 10 years. Do any of you even remember 1996-2001??? If you did, you wouldn't be so quick to call this a successful team. Seriously, give your heads a shake. I love this team as much as anyone, but we are far from successful. We've improved (a lot), and we're on the road to becoming a solid franchise. In the meantime, there are better teams out there over our team's history that have yet to win it.
Nordiques_fan
Just to ease the pain a little bit, since their last Stanley Cup championship, the Flyers have lost six Stanley Cup finals.
hahapro
Let's reverse the question. Do teams that have eliminated the Canucks usually win the cup?

magoomba
Didn't Philly also go to the Finals 3 times and lost in recent years?
