The cap appears to have gone up 7m Turns out that was last year, because it jumped from 70 to 78.5 over 2 years, but apparently last years cap was around 78m.

Basically, I have high end expectations of what my UFAs will ask. Couture 6.5, Beleskey 3.5, Faulk 3.5, White 2, Cizikas 1.5, Elliott 1.5, and if all of these are correct, I'll be 17m under cap. Or 1m below the cap floor. So, there you have it.

Question: I have Joonas Jarvinen who progressed to 80 OVR in the AHL. Since he is NOT Waiver eligible, I assume this means I can play him in the AHL for another year and let him progress further. There isn't really any room on my roster for him currently (Ekholm and Josi are clearly superior players despite being 79s). Am I correct in this assumption that I don't need to put him on waivers since he's not waiver eligible?

I was also going to ask this, not since it impacts me, but on general principle since it eventually will. Saying you 'have' to play Klimchuk at 19 is clearly contrary to the spirit of the rule. I'd imagine that you have to make no excuses for sending Non-Waiver Eligible players to the minors, no matter how high they get

Does anyone know why Leddy went down by 5 overall points?! He didn't even have a bad season. 22 points in 51 games and a +9. Did EA incorporate the sophomore slump in this game?

Good because Jarvinen is just awful at moving the puck (75 puck skills, 76 senses, 73 skating) and I'd hate to have to play him because the game values defensive attributes (as far as OVR is concerned) so much.
