It could be like adopting a foster team.

But I would not allow trading at all, only problems can arise from trading.

Allow signings, the purchase of only 1 UFA per 1st day of UFA's after day 1 it could be open season and setting draft priority, scouting,Roster changes, development, etc.

Team would be left on CPU

We have 6 vacant teams and maybe a few other semi-vacant teams? We could probably round up some non-CDC members or maybe allow some of our more active members to run a second team with a secondary account (with obvious restrictions like no trading between clubs with the same owner) until we can find a suitable GM to take over.

Just floating ideas out there.

Another idea could be for some GMs who want a challenge they can take another team in the league as long as they never trade with themselves or sign free agents that their other team released. Some of you guys are already in multiple leagues

I haven't run this by Trav yet, I just thought of the idea.

Huberdeau, Birkholz, Pakarinen, Kulikov, Petrovic, Markstrom, Donskoi, Mcfadden all young players drafted and developed by the Panthers.

I acquired Skinner when he was 20, Schenn when he was 21, Leddy when he was 21, Sutter when he was 23 and Pielmeier when he was 23 so I consider these players the product of the Florida Panthers development program.

So...

if you divide the number of players I mentioned above: 13 by the number of players on my roster: 21, you can clearly see that 62% of my team is built from within.

The Nashville Predators have extended what we feel are generous final offers to Chris Butler, Paul Gaustad, Teemu Laakso, and Chet Pickard.

It's up to the players and their respective agents now as to whether or not they would like to continue to be a part of our winning organization that has made the playoffs in 9 consecutive seasons.
