Weber obviously went for the money in Philly hoping that Nashville wouldn't accept it, when everyone else knew they would. Weber took the money, screwed his team cap financially and prevented them cap wise from being a true heavyweight contender. Weber deserves what he got; a big paycheque and no stanley cups. And why do people automatically assume Weber wanted to come to Vancouver just because he's from the province? I don't think there are any credible sources stating that Weber wanted to come to Van. While Weber is probably one greedy mother pucker, just like all the rest who are crying poor, he was offered a 14yr 110M dollar deal! No sane person would ever decline that offer.
