Kevin-B
Maybe it's the lack of NHL but I find myself inquiring random questions about how the league is run from a business standpoint. I was curious to know what or where the funds from a player that is fined go? Is it simply kept by the league? or divided up amongst teams?.....other? My apologies if this topic has already been covered, just a curiousity. I was browsing the net and stumbled on this from wikipedia, thought it was interesting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011%E2%80%9312_NHL_suspensions_and_fines
poetica
Interesting question. Did a Google search and found a post at HFBoards with quotes from the last CBA regarding fines. Fines/Suspensions from from League discipline: Fines under Article 26 (Circumvention): Fines for violating League Rules: Fines by Teams for violating Club Rules:

uber_pwnzor
During the regular season, the Vancouver Canucks remained the only team that did not have any players or staff suspended or fined.
