Buffalo to host 2016 draft. Building the Harborcenter is giving the NHL a woody. The last time it was held here was in the 90's (91&98).

Other rich owners should build their own hockey complexes. It provides jobs and they look good if done right.

Isn't Vancouver's hockey complex in the planning stage? Somebody posted architectural drawings here a while back.

I guess they want the team with 1st overall to host?

Speaking of which, the Sabres just lost to Chicago 6-2. I knew they were going to be bad this year, but wow. I wonder if their point total will be even lower in '14-15 than it was in '13-14.

The defence was porous tonight.

47 shots allowed. That's Leaf-like!

It's Chicago against Buffalo. Not like anything else was expected really.

After 2 quick Chicago goals the Sabres came back to tie it up, but then when the third period hit, the Blackhawks found another gear and brought the pain and scored 4 goals. I couldn't even get mad. The players were putting forth a pretty good effort, but they just got pounded into the ice.
