Hockey player Valeri Karpov died at the age of 43

65663.jpgRetired from the life of the legendary Russian hockey player, the favorite of the world 1993 Valeri Karpov. The ex-striker of the Russian Federation has died at the age of 43 years.

In early July of this year Karpov during a domestic incident was hit by a bottle on the head, then fell down the stairs. Famous sportsman moved to the Department of neurosurgery at a hospital in Chelyabinsk. Health workers spent 2 operations, then the ex-striker "Tractor" for several months was in a coma. On the morning of October 10, Karpov died, without regaining consciousness, informs the official website of Chelyabinsk club.

Karpov was a student hockey school "Tractor". At club level the greatest furrow he achieved while playing for Magnitogorsk "metallurg". In 1999 Karpov became the champion of the powers and won the European Cup. In addition, he advocated "Peace", "Mechel" and Moscow "Dynamo".
