He is a straight up replacement for Markov, I expect the minutes and deployment to be identical, if he can't hang in that spot, he'll be on waivers before Christmas Streit may rebound, if he does, the Habs are in luck, he's "that Dman" (first pass, possession, transition) he and Druin have complimentary styles on paper, but Markov could do all that and a little more, he has more of a "killer instinct" though it's not obvious. I think it's a great move following a really bad move. Bergevin is just fending off the inevitable since the Subban debacle, I think the habs should fire him, trade Price, let Philly take Weber off their hands (you know they will) and start offloading the rest of the vets with a foundational player targeted in return, then build it again from the ground up.
