  1. 99% chance Jays will make post season at this point, unfortunately they will most likely play the D-Rays. Hope they can somehow keep playing them like they did last series. I think the D-Rays are suffering at least one major injury plus that dude who knocked up a 14 year old girl, I imagine he probably won't be in the lineup
  2. The Jays, now, somehow, have an 84% of making the playoffs after tonight's game (I guess taking scheduling and other factors into account) I think most figured they were finished a week ago (including me) This has been a strange season Now hoping they finish 6th so they can play Minny rather then TB, but I certainly can't genuinely complain about that
  3. Usually the Blue Jays have just one game a week where it looks like they have no business being in the playoffs, but this week they had two against the O's This Boston series is going to be very consequential. If they win this series, they are looking very good, as many as 5 and a half up on Boston. If they lose, very, very different story
  4. Manoah: 6 IP 1 ER 8 Strikeouts (Including the side in the 6th) Its not conclusive, he was fighting it somewhat, but very very promising. I think most important of all he looked like he was having a very good time. Edit: Also, he picked up the win
  5. I mean, if their ERA for the rest of the season is 1.00 they'll probably be fine... but I'm pretty sure they need more offense Not that I mind all that much, the kind of pitching and defense they've had ought to make most teams envious.
  6. They are in a playoff spot right now, but it's been a weird season If they can: 1. Generate more offense 2. Win more divisional games They'll make it
  7. Anyone else loving what Raimel Tapia has been doing? Another triple, another infield single, starting rallies, doing it the hard way. His throwing arm... well he's not perfect, there's some room for improvement there, sorry Raimel. That was the only mediocre play I've seen from him in a month.
  8. The other day they only used relievers and they won the game easily, so they might try that. Their relief pitching is very good and a lot of those guys can pitch multiple innings
  9. Alek and Alejandro dominated. Espinal has been playing great all season. 8-2 in their last ten.
  10. Biggio waved to his mom in the stands after his homerun Great reversal compared to the last time they played the O's
  11. Bipolar team this year. At least 3 times this year they've gone through stretches where they lose something like 8 out of 10 and yet they're firmly in a playoff position right now.
