    I have had trouble eating meat since I read a comment on a reddit thread regarding compelling arguments against things you strongly believe in.

    Also, I couldn't eat the freshly caught fish at home today because it flopped around on the sink for a long time. Kind of hungry now

    I am now thinking consent is an idealistic construct that we selectively impose on things that illicit strong emotional response such as disgust, but we turn a blind eye and throw it away as convenient for us. It's such a fragile idea that goes against vast amount of interactions between animals in nature.

    Consent only works in a homogenized equal playing field of the same type of people, and when you attempt to extend it across species and even on a smaller scale across age and intelligence it kind of falls apart.

    Really, how does it work outside of the boundaries of a girl at the bar saying yes to your advances?

    Is it consent if a dog excitedly mounts a woman who wants it?

    Do two severely mentally handicapped people require consent from each other or do we as society dictate if they can or cannot make that choice?

    I don't know where I am going with this except eating my meals have turned kind of crappy

    You just realized that it is common for people to act unethically when they have something to gain?... jeez, welcome to humanity tiger.

    Did you somehow miss the whole captive animals are living their entire lives in pens so small they can't take a step in either direction thing?

    If Torts is unwilling to budge on aspects of the style he attempted (and failed) to implement that obviously don't work, Eg. over playing the shit out of the stars, then he has to go. I don't think he is that bull headed though, at least I hope he isn't.

    And even then, I wouldn't be opposed to his dismissal. This year was a gong show, not hard to put together an argument for a fresh start.

    Rangers offense isn't chopped liver by any means but by comparison Philadelphia is easily the deeper offense.
