Torres has been a playoff beast again as usual...
Imagine him and Kassian together on a line. Thanks again Gillis. You found a gem player at a bargain and let him walk for no reason. Players like that don't go to free agency too often, and when they do they don't cost less than 2 mil.
Yup and that's why the Sharks locked him up. He really didn't do crap all during the regular season and was out because of injuries. But come playoff time, you know what you will get from Torres.

Lundqvist best asset is mainly his consistency season after season which no other goalie seems to replicate. Lu did tail off for a bit and have a few meltdowns. But yeah people were harder on him than they should have been.
Lu has been pretty consistent too I think. Few bad years in between like last year and 09/10, but otherwise pretty consistent. This season he was right there with his career average, and on not so good teams. I still think he could have had a better season this year.

One thing that I really don't get and find kind of funny is Lundqvist is considered a top elite goalie by most but Luongo is considered washed up and declining when both had very similar stats this past season and Lu playing on worse teams...GO FLYERS

Nichushkin is so fast I feel like we missed out on this guy.
I feel the same way, really hope Horvat ends up being great. He got the size too, along with speed and skill.

Nichushkin drafted right after Horvat, but Stars let him play this season and proved ready. Now he is playing on the top line....So why wasn't Horvat ready again??

Lucky? More like Price is playing like crap. TB also playing without their number 1 goalie but the Habs aren't...So Habs are pretty lucky. Don't think some of those goals go in on Bishop

Exactly. I won't cheer for a Canadian team just because they are Canadian. This is the NHL and not the Olympics. Most of canada did want us to lose in 2011. Montreal and Toronto wanted their division rivals in Boston over is.
Exactly, there is a reason Canada has 7 different teams. Even before 2011 I was cheering against the Flames in 04, Oilers in 06 just because they are Canadian teams. I didn't want any other Canadian team to win the cup before Canucks

There is a reason they are the Montreal Canadiens and not the Canada Canadiens. There is a reason we have the Vancouver Canucks, and Edmonton has the Oilers, Calgary has the Flames, Winnipeg has the Jets, Ottawa has the Senators, Toronto has the Maple Leafs...
