Khabib is an ANIMAL!

I wouldn't sleep on Al. That being said, I expect Khabib to mail him.

Judges are goofy.
Yes, they are.

Gave it 4 rounds to 1. Interesting.

Way closer than that

Split for Rose? That takedown may have decided it.

Rose needs to learn to check kicks. They could lose her this fight.
Yup. I have it, arguably, 2-2, going to the 5th

The uppercut and right hook is there all day for Rose.

The real main event is about to begin. Rose vs. Joanna!
Yes sir! I'm pulling for Rose. And, uh, I'm drunk. So don't be picking apart my words.

I'm still deciding if I'm going to spend the money for this card.

Dana White is telling stories.....
Dana? Contradicting himself??? No way. I don't believe that. Sometimes I like him and sometimes I want to ask him what the 5 fingers said to the face.

I'm sure he'd rather climb the ladder.
Jager, it's a helluva drug.

Felder sure got shafted. He doesn't even have a fight now. That's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing him hopefully climb the latter. He seems like a good dude and is great at commentating. Very cerebral guy.

They tried to get Paul Felder the title shot against Khabib but the NYSAC shot it down because, get this, Felder is unranked. Unreal.
"But Felder’s one-in-a-million opportunity was soon dashed by the New York State Atletic Commission, who ruled him unfit as a title challenger because he’s an unranked lightweight.
The news was confirmed to MMAjunkie following tweets from Felder and his co-manager Bryan Hamper, who wrote, “And the justification from commission is a ranking… you’re doing great NYSAC keep it up!” A NYSAC representative wasn’t immediately reachable for comment."

I've never liked that arrogant, disrespectful moron. I'm not too surprised.
Not surprised by the comments from Diaz either.
What a terrible example to set for MMA. Not sure if Connor was high on coke or just his own ego. What a joke.
The sad thing is, is that this debacle will probably make him an even bigger cash cow for the UFC than he already was.
If Jon Jones can crash into a car with a pregnant woman and injure her and still fight in the UFC I'm sure Connor will too.

At least its against more of a grappler than a heavy hitter. As you said, Max is likely to get mauled. Hopefully they have a real ref like Big John or Herb Dean and not Mario Yamasaki to step in and recognize when it needs to end otherwise Max is going to take unnecessary damage.
That said, I'll certainly be rooting for Max even though my $ is on Khabib.
Yamasaki should stick to making hearts with his hands and leave the reffing to the pros. Big John is commentating for Bellator now so I'm not even sure if he's reffing anymore these days. I can't recall exactly which fights but Herb had me shaking my head a few times within the last year.
I usually like Josh Rosenthal and Marc Goddard too. If I ever see Mazzagatti in the cage again....
Interesting how Dana said he guarantees Connor will be back in 2018. Then said when asked about what happens with the winner of Khabib/Max, he said "We'll see how things play out and go from there". I'm thinking Dana doesn't want Connor to fight Khabib but will let him fight Max in a rematch if he wins. After all, Connor is still the official 155lb champ till Saturday night. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Can't see things going very well for Max Holloway on Saturday.
Agreed. He's probably going to get mauled. But then again, anything can happen.
Lot of respect for Max though for stepping up on 6 days notice to defend the belt. Not many champs, past or present, would do that.

I was reading yesterday that it was all but a done deal but it wouldn't surprise me if Thompson's dad shot it down. Wouldn't be the first time he's done that.
BREAKING! PER SOURCES STEPHEN THOMPSON ANSWERS THE CALL! “WONDERBOY” IS SET TO FIGHT DARREN TILL IN THE MAIN EVENT OF #UFCLIVERPOOL
-
So the UFC announces that RDA and Colby Covington are going to fight for the interim welterweight title. Then soon after they announce a fight between Darren Till and Stephen Thompson. You'd think that if Till can beat stop Thompson, something that Woodley couldn't do, then Till would be next in line for the title shot. But the interim title holder gets first crack at the title. Interesting....

I'm thinking 50-45, maybe 50-44. Unanimous for Khabib.
