  1. That's a good question, I keep hearing tsn has had complete draft coverage since 2002
  2. Pretty much same thing but for 5th spot I want Macinnis, kamenev, or petterson.
  3. From what I've seen he has one of the best back hands in the draft, it is a valuable tool! I see Kane and Crosby go backhand shelf alot, no comparison.
  4. Wasn't my first choice but he is the youngest and has the most room to grow and wish him all the best and trust linden and Benning. Excited for the McCann pick not sure how that happened but we'll take it!
  5. Look at the star power in the qmjhl aside from mantha, droiun, and Pourier there is not much, the only reason the scoring is the same is because both offence and defense are alot weaker!!
  6. Nylander is clearly a step above ehlers even Benning said their was a top 6, ehlers is good but played in a weak ass QMJHL with droiun and weighs 162 pounds. I don't see a scenario where he goes before 8
  7. I think your counting might be a wee bit off
  8. petan was 165 pounds too and put up 120 points in his draft year in the WHL and fell all the way to 43
  9. For me top end speed isn't as important as acceleration and agility unless you are going end to end or you are going in on breakaways, at the nhl level there is not alot of room out there. I think nylander brings pretty much everything ehlers does plus more as he has a higher skill set, better playmaker, physically superior, can play center, and skating is almost just as good. It has to be between nylander and Ritchie depending on what direction the club wants to go!

  11. Ehlers is more suited for the east, in a 7 game series in our division a player like nick Ritchie in my opinion is more valuable
  12. I don't think ehlers and Ritchie's shots are on par I think Ritchie has a much heavier shot as well as a little better release as sometimes is looks like the puck is evaporating off his stick. Ya ehlers is definitely alot fast that Ritchie but ehlers will probably need 15-20 more pounds to play in the nhl and if Ritchie steps up his conditioning which is almost a given when going pro he will likely be playing just under 220 and should lessen the gap in speed.
  13. Ritchie has the best shot of the three and his skills are very underrated as he can make perfect saucer passes and stick handle in tight, and he will win a hell of a lot more nhl puck battles than nylander or ehlers. He can get to the front of the net and score the dirty goals as well as screen goalies and has a game 7 overtime goal under his belt on a really shitty team. I do think nylander has a really high offensive ceiling and could be a number 1 center some day so I would probably take him slightly over Ritchie.
  14. Why would it just be between these two, I think it's probably between Ritchie and nylander!
  15. I would do calgarys 2015 1st in a heartbeat
  16. I know its just the combine and not too much should be put into it but Nylanders wingate test for peak power output is very impressive. He blew the scores from the previous best players in that category out of the water! 2014: Nylander - 17.5 2013: Samuel morin and shea Theodore - 15.8 2012: Alex Galchenyuk - 15.6 2011: Ty rattie - 15.9 2010: John McFarland - 16.2 2009: Jordan szwarz - 15.6 Not sure exactly what the test measures other than it has to do with lactic acid and I think plays a big part in explosiveness. But if Nylander has that elite skill and special physical tools he seems like a great pick even over a guy like Ritchie.
  17. page 200, nylander or Ritchie please based on which direction the team wants to go, with our division im thinkin Ritchie.
  18. Ya Ritchie is gone at 8 by Toronto for sure!!! Cant see him making it to 9.
  19. I wouldn't mind adding a nice defensemen prospect with this pick maybe if a guy like roland mckeown drops to #36
  20. A lot of the players are not playing hockey anymore until draft so the rankings shouldn't be effected a whole lot by how recent it is updated until after the combine. Central scouting is done by the actual NHL so they should know what their talking about, I feel like ISS is good at scouting international players instead of just focusing on the CHL, and Bob Mckenzie has so many connections and resources working at TSN plus he talks to 12 NHL scouts and takes a consensus. Also hes not a goof like craig button!
  21. I wouldn't put too much thought into some of those mock drafts online as they are pretty unreliable and a lot of them are all over the place the only ones I really trust are central scouting, ISS, and the one I trust the most is Bob Mckenzie. They have: Ritchie: 7, 9, 6 Ehlers: 13, 11, 7 Virtanen: 6, 10, 8 Nylander: 2nd euro, 5, 12
  22. Ya lets take Tuch over Ritchie.......said nobody smart ever.
