Come off-season, I think the best decision for Virtanen could is to send him to Gary Roberts, and train with Stamkos. I think his worth ethic will rub off on Virtanen and do wonder s for the kid's development.

Its the players he drafted in the later rounds that makes him such a strong scout. Guys like Miller, Krejci, Lucic etc...

He played 4-5 minutes up until the third. I don't think he broke a sweat.

He wouldn't have gotten that scoring chance if Gauthier was on instead of point.

His line mates are pretty brutal.

Lol Gauthier probably gets tired keeping up with Virtanen, that's why his line doesn't get much ice time. I do feel though Virtanen playing with Gauthier is holding Virtanen back.

What an absolute fking joke. Put Ritchie on but not the best skater in the 2014 draft. Groulx you really are something. Just saw the replay and what do you know, there's Ritchie lying on top of a Russian player because he couldn't keep up with the play.

Virtanen has 2 assists against CIS. 2nd period currently

It's his decision making with and without the puck that needs work. Now that Chase is gone, Virtanen will get more offensive minutes, and that decision making will get better through more experience.

Didn't like how the WHL coach used him on the PP. Virtanen has the best shot on the team and isn't even using it. I also don't like Virtanen's positioning when his team has the puck in the offensive zone.

Issue there was speed. Defender would've probably backed off if he was faster

Virtanen has untapped offensive potential, much like Corey Perry did. He's shown some flashes of it early in the season. It's about harnessing that potential now.
