Kesler was projected on draft day as the perfect 3rd line C. I think it's safe to say that he developed into a much better player than anticipated. I think that Bo's offence will come. Whether he spends the rest of the year in junior or the NHL, Bo will eventually get comfortable and start putting up points. It could take a full year to two in the NHL, but I think the offence will come for sure

Haha relax, he will play his 9 games, and if we still need him up here, possibly more. No need to rush him in to all the games. He will get a game against one of LA/ANA for sure.

Literally everyone is playing amazing lol. But it'll be tough to sit Horvat after he had a pretty much perfect debut. My guess is Hansen. Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata Higgins-Bonino-Vey Matthias-Richardson-Kassian Dorsett-Horvat-Burrows I expect Burrows to win his spot back from Vey though. Either way, that's a deep, deep roster

Yeah, don't see why the Canucks would want him to miss a game only to watch from the pressbox. But you never know. Sestito was pretty good last night, with the exception of that hit he missed

Is this confirmed or he's just recalled on that day? Don't think he'll play Friday and Saturday in the A and then play another game on Sunday up here

Exactly. Right now our offence is fine, we don't need Horvat to contribute there, but we need him playing well defensively and winning as many faceoffs as he can. He can help the PK too

I know I am a huge Horvat fan and I'm probably biased here, but how would you know? We haven't seen the kid play in a regular season game. If he outplays Matthias and is good in the dot, he might just push someone out of that bottom 6, and as of right now, all fingers point to Matthias. Unless Matthias can play how he did last night with consistency. He was awesome.

Also: @mattsekeres: Renney says that Horvat is one of the best junior-aged players in Canada and has a spot on the team if the #Canucks loan him out.

@News1130Sports: Talked to Utica gm Pat Conacher about Bo Horvat's 1st game last night : "He was watching a little to much instead of moving". Thought he was good last night.. Lol Conacher also said he struggled in the dot. Hope it's just the rust and he's better next game.
