I think that'll come as he keeps growing as a player and gains more confidence. He's slowly starting to get more chances, defensive game isn't perfect but he's learning. I think we'll all be surprised at his hands in a few years

Can't disagree with you there.

They are not excuses. It's just what I think. A young player is learning the NHL game, he is going to be told what to do majority of the time.

i personally think its the way management wants him to play at the moment. They don't want him to get out of position by trying to throw a hit etc. just what I think though.

anyone could make? all he had to do was shoot the puck down the ice instead of try lofting it over for an alley oop to the fin's mascot. He knows the glass is smaller... no excuse for JV but what you're saying isn't exactly right either. what about marner with 3 minutes to go - we're about to go on the powerplay and he decides to pop a guy in the face? there were alot more problems then one player on that team.

Soft = raymond.. cant take a hit .. cant dish a hit.. Sedins= definitely can take hits ... can maybe throw the occasional hit.. they are definitely not soft... barely injured after taking punishing hits .. cross checks.. and so forth.. lol @ your soft.

he's still fairly young so I do think he'll grow as well. He's got to the play the game that will get him into the league which is the big man game - kid's going to be power forward and I am excited as.....desiboy when he sees bo sang on the score sheet.
