One thing Ive noticed is that he really needs to play with a play maker on his wing. I can see him working well with someone like Dahlen or Goldobin if he starts to attack more.

I don’t think that’s entirely accurate. We’re watching a lot of highlights of his big bomb on the powerplay and of course he’s getting set up, it’s the powerplay. He creates a lot for himself and his teammates with his speed off the rush and his relentless on the forecheck. Of course a few set up men would be great for AG but I don’t believe it’s as necessary as some may think.

Havent watched JD at all tbh besides highlights so Iunno how they’ll gel on paper but goldobin I’m betting they never play a game together (goldy trade, calling it)

  2. Cmon guys enough of the will be sign crap. He’s pro ready, he’s taking an “athlete” degree, he’s come to prospects camp, the money, and what nobody’s saying that I think important......boeser and him are bros!

You think he’s not looking at boeser and his success and saying “that’s gonna be me!”

Just as it was obvious Brock was an NHL player from his first NHL game (indeed, first period) against Minnesota, Adam gave the same impression in the summer game, regardless of the level of competition.

Absolutely. I’ve had too many debates with friends saying “well it was prospect game and he’s older”......he dominated and as much as I love love ep, gaudette dominated him when they were head to head

  4. LOL at people who think he doesn’t have a great shot, he’s not boeser......lower the bar people.

Hes nhl ready today. If you don’t believe me go ahead and watch him.....easier to get a link then you think

AHL next year or two? I highly highly doubt it, I’d bet my house he makes the big club next year. Good shot, good wheels, good work ethic, Green will love him

Who cares if he’s the 3C? That sounds sweet to me if we have enough depth down the middle. I will admit I’m getting ahead of myself especially with Lind but when this team is ready for potential cup runs a shut down line of Lind Gaud Virt could be unreal

  6. Honestly who cares where he plays next year. Advantages for both sides of the argument. Play with more skill and make more money or adapt to smaller ice and be closer to the club......seems like a wash to me.

And who says ep and jd will jd will even play together in Sweden. The Lakers ain't gonna be doing the Canucks any favours, they're trying to build a winner over there too ya know. On top of that who says they're a future line for the nucks?.....Boeser and petterson will be linemates in the future imo, if we tank and land tkachuk or svenchinkov or whoever you think dhalen is beating out one of those guys for top line?

If Tryamkin hadn't &^@#ed off, we could have moved Edler and Tanev and grabbed him too

Him leaving shouldn't change the teams plans. We are rebuilding are we not? Tanev should be moved for a mid 1st same with edler for a late 1st/high 2nd (prolly the latter) and replaced with some stop gap dmen via ufa. The organizations goal should be as many picks in the top 65 as possible. Tank away one more season and hope we've acquired enough talent to replaced the sedins.

He's NHL ready and made a difference in his first season. We're arguing the same thing here. OJ is not NHL ready. Oj will get there but he's not there yet. I don't buy the year older thing because Tkatchuk is what ? 6 months older. They both played the same # of years in London

Dude. I said I like tkachuk as a player and yeah the year difference is huge at that age. Not even so much physically but playing one more year of high level junior for your development. Same years in London but played in the us development league u18 u17. Whatever dude I don't really care about MT I hope he busts. Hate the lames

  9. Another great game for oj. Guys been an absolute beast these playoffs. Look at the matchups he's had these 2 rounds so far and coming out on top. Shutting down brown and vilardi first round now getting the better of strome and radysh.

Everyones so concerned about comparing him to tkatchuk and mcavoy now. Let's not forget both tkachuk and mcavoy are a year older.

I know it's not a good sign all the "disinterested" talk earlier but gotta admit if he played all season as good as he has been these playoffs there'd be a lot less "3 or "2 d man talk.

Kids been a monster these playoffs!

Embarrassing story about the Draft Lotto...

Last year my 8 year old son had a couple buddies over when I was watching the lotto reveal, I was having a heart attack, just freaaaaking out. Screaming at the TV, throwing pillows as he's counting down. Well the little brats were laughin and chirping me watching it all go down, they were in tears, as was I when that bald head flipped our logo over at #5.

Fast forward to this morning, driving the little dude to school, "oh hey, 'rattles off 6 names' want to come over in 2 weeks on Saturday.... it's the draft lottery isn't it, we told all my friends about what happened last year, they all want to come now" with a massive grin on his face.

I said Blizzards on me if we win top 2, looked like he had just won the lotto himself "...AWESOME!!!"

Me and 3 buddies (all nucks fans) won a golf tourney day of last years lotto. We're partying, celebrating, then the lotto happened........the biggest buzz kill of all time. Literally definition of hero to zero night.
