Got to see him for the first time tonight and Lockwood is an exciting prospect. Lots of jump in his skating and good skill. Scored his first pro goal and it was a beauty. Real energy guy he will be in the league one day.

Sutter Macewen Virtanen is a good looking line. Motte is picking up where he left off. Playing well. Beagle was better last night but he has been awol. Not sold on Rousel but I see why he is there. Gaudette good resource to have in the press box I guess no room for him right now.

He has a goid point shot. Perhaps they should give him a try on the 2nd unit power play.
He was pretty good in Utica on the PP. Hopefully he gets a chance.

Oilers forecheck much better tonight

Sutter got to finish that bruh

Joulevi is not terrible on the power play either. He won’t dazzle like Hughes with end to end rushes but he can throw a skip pass and break someone out for a shot on goal on occasion.

Boeser skating well ... not the slug he was for too much of last season. D looks decent. Hoglander going to be fun to watch.
I think he played hurt and was literally hobbled but he looks sharp so far.

Greetings from Utica! So good to be catching the Canucks on the tube.
Good looking power play surprised to see Hoglander not Bo with Miller out

One of the greatest goal tending performances i've ever seen. I'm exhausted just watching it and all I'm doing is sitting on my bed.
Gonna savor this but damn Thatcher better be hooked up to an IV right away. Edler, Myers, Hughes, Tanev too.
Hope Virtanen can come back 100% he is actually a big piece of playing these guys. Horvat Motte looks like a bull as always and some of these guys like Pearson and Toffoli who are passengers right now better go all in tomorrow.

TV timeouts have helped us

Boeser has been effective.
Now put the knife in!

I'm sick and tired of hearing about how great Vegas is. Their time is past. This is our time. Now get out there and take it.

then if we win this game, he'll be crawling tomorrow.
got to catch a second wind in the next 20 minutes or there is no tomorrow. Green will still ride him like a rented mule

Roussel Toffoli Pearson Miller Edler all the vets are struggling. Bo, Motte, Myers, doing it all. Green is going to have to have a little more confidence in the bench early in the 3rd. Cant shorten the bench too soon.

thank god tv timeout. Motte has to be knackered

Petey is not doing much positively out there. He usually comes up with something though.

It has been interesting because several AHL teams opted not to play at all and with the shortened season and combining with St. Louis the guys playing are legitimate prospects. So as much as I enjoyed seeing Wacey Hamilton and Reid Boucher play in the AHL, this year they are really leaning on prospects. Sven Baertschi is also a favorite of mine and Sam Anas, who led the league in scoring last year and is great to watch, did not play last night and it was prospects on the ice. If Travis Green watches any of the Comets games he might take an interest in Jonah Gadjovich who has been useful this year. Playing a heavy game.
