Demko is in their heads. Cutting it too fine.
Our guys are bobbling the puck. Wtf come on Sutter do something.
-
Petey's legs aren't moving, Hughes' are thankfully, and so are Myers'. Petey has to pull another rabbit out of his hat with his stick. We can get their heads down by scoring next.
-
Motte Demko carrying us. Motte will have to come up big again on the PK.
Where are Toffoli and Pearson. Gaudette is showing up more than they are.
-
Too much stick reaching. Hit somebody.
-
Got to get more out of those turnovers. Drive that net maybe. Take some more shots.

I think Theodore might have the best hand eye coordination in the league.
he has killed us at the blue line stopping pucks, not to mention the other stuff he does offensively

Was Mikey getting some work done this summer? Like knee scope, something minor.

I could see Macewen but not the others. So much on the line tonight you just have to dance with who brung ya and thats all there is to it. Mac has played some so it wouldn't be throwing in an unknown. But Bailey and Juolevi are total unknowns in a playoff scenario, even though I like both of them. They are good depth players at this point but you should break glass and reach for the alarm only in case of emergency.

What do you guys think about switching Sutter for MacEwen?
Sutter looks a little bit tired and maybe you get a Demko effect by putting a fresh young guy like Mac in. I wonder if Juolevi wouldn’t help too. He is an excellent puck mover. It would be out of character for Green to take such a risk if someone isn’t hurt.

Bruins being destroyed by TB. Makes our first game against Vegas look competitive. Rough outings happen.

Big over-reaction. Not the end of the world, and not even done yet.

I think we are home team next game. We had some rough matchup tonight. Beagle line logging tough minutes.

Quinn Hughes hurt? He wasn't himself. Edler and Tanev were themselves luckily.

Gaudette Rooster Sutter has been a solid line.

Lehner can find his jock and put it back on during intermission.

They were well prepared for us and had extra time to do it. Vegas was attacking the second pass like they knew where it was going most times. Hughes, Bo, Petey, all heavily blanketed. They disrupted our breakouts over and over. Lehner was stone cold solid in there too and gave them confidence, with a lead, to really limit us in the neutral zone and our own end. Marky was a little loose tonight too but obviously this is not on him by any stretch. And that was the best counter punching game I've seen in awhile. We would get some zone time maybe a couple of shots and then when they possessed the puck bang one pass, defense to offense, to the neutral zone and a couple of strides and they are carrying it into our zone. By comparison we were making three short passes in our end trying to break it out. Usually one of those passes was tipped our blocked. Maybe we should be looking at more stretch passes. Throw the long ball a little more and let Virt, Gaudette, Mott chase it down.
Put this one behind us and come back with a tighter effort. Green will have to do something with our breakouts and keep people in line when we get behind. Last night people started to try and do a little too much to try and make a play and ended up turning it over.
Time to see what we have with this team. Horvat will have to have a big game and turn this around like O'Rielly did to us. You want the C well here you go.

Never seen so many blocked passes

Boeser has a couple good chances. Has to hit the net. Vegas taking away passing lanes.

Vegas really good at getting stocks on our passes.
we are doing ok just have to connect on a few passes. Their goal was a good bounce off a skate. It happens.

I was wondering what people think about the effect of the bubble. No travel, no families, no fans. Does that favor one team over another? I wonder.
Older teams with older legs might benefit from no travel. But older teams where players are married with kids might be more negatively affected mentally. The young teams with more single guys are hanging with their buddies and having more fun maybe do better in this environment. It seems like the older teams got bounced. The Caps, Blues, etc and the younger teams like Isles, Ava and Canucks advance. I’ll have to look at average age stats and see if this holds any water.
Does a defensive team with a conservative style benefit from no fans generating extra energy? Are the Canucks with their high tempo game at a disadvantage without the energy of an audience?
Hard to say what the conditions mean but as a viewer who would not be able to attend Canucks games in person in any event I think the games and broadcasts are great.

I feel like i missed something.
When did this Tony Stecher thing happen?
I believe when he first earned a spot on the roster he went to a fund raising or similar public event and the announcer called him Tony Stretcher.

I think the Blues had the lead for less than 20 minutes during the entire series.
Think about that Mr Berube.Less than 20 minutes - 6 games.
I was wondering about that stat. It seemed like the Canucks were in control of the series most of the time.

I think Marky is the kind of goaltender that needs to be comfortable in order to do well. He has to have full trust in his team and coaching staff to be successful. He hasn't ever had that until the past few years.
Travis and Marky have won a lot of games together and in a way made each other's careers right now. Marky likes a lot of work, likes his D to be basic in front of him like Benn and Fanta play.

Greener got the blender going. Horvat, Miller, Boeser, then Sutter Motte, Beagle to finish the period.
