I like where we are at on the left side. Woulanin, Brezzer and Rathbone are all looking good for next year (terrible spelling I know).
-
I am really hoping we get a look at him in Vancouver in a few weeks when he is available and then have him in Abby for the playoffs.

There is one thing you are all forgetting:
2023 NHL Draft Lottery Simulator

I think he plays the first half of the season in Abby and then he will come up and won't look back. I have always thought he would be like the Ranger's Kreider. We will have to wait and see but I think this kid will make Brock redundant and Brock will be traded as a result. We will see.

Well, I had a little time just now and found myself on the Draft Simulator site and thought, why not give it a whirle. I think the Canucks should let me go to the Draft Lotto because my first 2 clicks put us at the number 1 spot. I didn't dare try a third click and just quietly changed sites not wanting to jinks anything. I have had good fortune in the past and so I am feeling confident (Ha, Ha). You think they would give me a shot??? I will wait and see if I get a call from Aquaman. #Bedard or Bust.

I think it's his defensive part of his game they're concerned about
He seemed to struggle in the beginning but is now used on the penalty kill and the coach feels comfortable playing him at the end of games when protecting leads. I think he would be fine defensively.

I hope Karlsson gets a call up with Bo gone and some off the injuries we have. He has a great shot, good playmaker and he plays with an edge (something we could really use right now). He reminds me a little of Burr with a little more natural talent. Fitting that he came to us as a result of the Burr trade to Ott. We got Jonatan Daulin and then traded im to San Jose for Karlsson. (Sorry about my spelling)

I watch a lot of Abby Games and I think Jett maybe a lot closer to being ready than some give him credit for. I think he is a better call up on the right side than Julsson at this point.

Raty, Klimovich, McDonough, Hogz & Podz, Lekkerimaki, Karlsson, Rathbone, Woo, Pettersson (D), Keeper, Wolanin and Our young Goalies all seem to be on track. These are the guys I could think of off the top of my head along with what we will get in this years draft. We have some great looking prospects that could make the next couple years very interesting with these young players pushing for roster spots in Vancouver.

Just looking at the Standings and noticed we are 3 points out of first place. It sure has been fun watching Abby this year. Every game they play it feels like they have a shot at winning. Having the AHL TV Abby Package has sure been fun to watch. If you are able, I would encourage giving it a try.

4 - 2 Canucks. Pete gets 2g 1a. Go Canucks Go

He has been RW in Abby but I thought he played C in Sweden. I could be wrong but that seems to be my recollection. He doesn't let anyone push him around. I am hoping he can develop the edgier part of his game and become Burr 0.2.

After watching the last couple Abby games, the more impressed I am with Linus Karlsson. He is a good playmaker and has a good shot. He also plays well along the boards and plays with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He may be a middle 6 forward in the making.

I noticed Dermitt looked pretty good in Abby the other night. He must be on a conditioning stint before he is ready for the big club. (Sorry for spelling his name wrong)

Canucks win 5 - 1. Tonight they turn it all around.
Go Canucks Go

All morning I have been checking canucks.com to see who is getting traded to finally shake the team out of this funk. With Aiden McDonough coming this spring Brock becomes expendable. His salary would free up cap space for signing Bo.
-
I think it might be a good idea to send him down to the AHL like they did with Podz. It is really helping Podz. Hogz just doesn't look like he belongs right now. When you notice what he is doing wrong more than what he does right there is a problem.

After watching Jett play this weekend how far off is he from getting a call up to the big club. He seems to have improved his skating and is playing with some good consistency. I am thinking he may be close to getting a call up if we find ourselves in need of a Right Dman.

Remember when you thought Boeser was a generational talent? LOL
To be fair I was asking if he was a generational talent Nice memory though. That was quite a while ago.

I think Jett has looked good this season so far.

I am a bit shocked that Rathbone isn't getting a shot after the way Stillman played last game.

Game ended 4-3 OT loss.
McDonough played well throughout. Got some good looks and dangerous shots away. Played physical. Showed heart, leadership, and determination. Solid two ways.
5 shots. 1 goal. 1 assist.
Defensive game looks improved. And he looked really comfortable playing a heavy game, using his body well at both ends of the ice. Seems like another year of college is serving his development quite nicely.
Hey Sid, do you think MacDonough will play in Vancouver at the end of the season?

Canucks win 4 - 2 and Pete gets the winning goal and a Geordie Howe Hat Trick. Go Go

Because he has not yet shown himself to be a NHL regular yet. In a perfect world (for him), this team would be rebuilding and he'd have time to make mistakes. But while this ownership / leadership is delusional and expecting this team to make the playoffs, Rathbone is quite frankly not helping. Lots of potential, but not there yet.....and that's what I would define as a prospect.
Oh, I thought if he was with the big club, that meant he was on the current roster.

Are there any estimations on When we may see him in Vancouver?
