Final Euro roster Germany:
GK: Manuel Neuer, Bernd Leno, Marc-Andre ter Stegen
Defense: Jerome Boateng, Emre Can, Jonas Hector, Benedikt Höwedes, Mats Hummels, Shkodran Mustafi, Antonio Rüdiger
Midfield/Striker: Julian Draxler, Mario Götze, Sami Khedira, Joshua Kimmich, Toni Kroos, Thomas Müller, Mesut Özil, Lukas Podolski, Leroy Sane, Andre Schürrle, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Julian Weigl, Mario Gomez
No Rudy, Bellarabi, Brandt and no Reus. According to Löw, he can barely walk a straight line. Weird that it's an argument to keep Reus out, but the same applies to Schweinsteiger and he's in. All in all 2 Dortmund players nominated. Shows Löw's southern Germany bias once again. Sadly, the roster is still too talented to have no success. Can't believe that wanker will go down in the books as one of Germany's most successful managers.

Christian Pulisic just became the youngest goal scorer in USMNT's history.

I hope he stays. I guess I'm just fed up of them losing players to 'bigger teams'. I get that BVB can't afford the wages other teams can, but it's not like they're a small club FFS. If I was a footballer and you gave me the opportunity to play in front of that crowd every week I'd jump at it.
True that.
Hope Mkhitaryan stays. He's more important to us than Auba. German media is starting to lose their s*** because of the drawn out negotiations. But his agent is Mino Raiola. So that's kind of normal.

I'd be gutted to lose Auba.
There's no loyalty in football anymore. All about the money.
I don't know. He's a good striker, but not irreplaceable. For the right price. Why not? Still, I would be very surprised if that's true. Nothing really hinted to him leaving.
Oblak was outstanding today. But he should seriously question his strategy in penalties. That was pretty easy for Real's players.

Apparently Aubameyang has asked the Gabon national team coach not to pick him, because he is changing clubs.
Wow. That comes as a surprise. Maybe Real or Barca came calling. Otherwise I couldn't explain his sudden change of mind.
70m+ € and I would be fine.

So, reportedly Liverpool expected to sign Götze this summer for 25 m €. But a couple of days ago he told German media he will stay at Bayern and look for his chance under Ancelotti. However, Bayern's president Rummenigge suggested that Götze was told he was not in their plans for next season by both club and new coach. But well, he earns about 12 m € per year. Quite a fun story as a Dortmund fan, to be honest.

English press is very... how shall I put it... creative when it comes to transfer rumours anyway.
Oh. Btw. Several German media outlets are reporting now Gündogan to Man City is all but official. 25m € + some bonus payments. Glad this is finally over.

Auba? Yeah. Sure. He can try. Half of his war chest will be empty after that. Otherwise we won't give him away.

No red card
Second time Ribery pulled something like that in a final against us and wasn't sent off. Son of a b****

DFB-Pokal final today. 8 pm CET.
Hope we can go out of this season with at least one trophy. It was just way too good to go trophyless. Though I don't have a good feeling about it. We looked like amateurs in the first match and were too afraid in the second.

Löw had some strange surprises in his nominations as well (Rudy instead of Durm, Schmelzer or Ginter for example). Plus the usual suspects who just make it every time, yet no one knows why (e.g. Podolski). Also he nominated players who were injured for long stretches of the season and are not back at 100% (Schweinsteiger, Khedira).
Full 27-man squad:

We just signed Ousmane Dembélé from Rennes for 15m €.

You'll be letting Kagawa Shinji down.
So, I would let Christian Pulisic down if I chose to watch J League?

J-League
MLS way is easier to watch in Germany. Eurosport (Free TV!) shows a couple of matches live per weekend. I have no idea though why they bought that package or if there is anyone in Germany who watches it.

Hummels to Bayern for 38m € confirmed. C**t
Also, Bayern snagged Renato Sanches away for 35m €.
Next 5 Bundesliga titles to Bayern also confirmed. Wankers. I think I'm gonna start watching MLS now.

Gündogan out for season & Euro. Dislocated kneecap. Curios to know if Man City still wants him now.

Think Denmarks win in the Euros 1992, was up there as well, if not bigger. Players were on summer holidays around the beaches of Europe, when they got the call as a late substitute...
Kaiserslautern 1998. Won the league as a promoted team.

Pretty much the outcome I expected. I hope we can beat them in the cup final. Going without a title in this fantastic season would be so disappointing.

According to the Guardian, Man Utd spent more money on transfer fees in the last 2 years than Leicester City in its entire 132 year history.

Congrats Leicester. Some football fairytale.

Big discussion right now about that among the fans. Personally I don't like booing players wearing our jersey. Next season, when he's wearing red, go for it. But now we still need him fully motivated in the cup final.

I didn't mean to imply that them leaving was anything short than kick in the balls.
All I meant was that Gotze's a Bavarian kid and Hummels played for Bayern before so there was some reason, whether good or bad, to play for Bayern.
I'm sorry your club has seen such disloyalty in recent times.
Yeah, I got that. Just wanted to share a bit of the Dortmund fans thoughts.

At least he and Gotze had some sort of reason to go to Bayern. Lewandowski was unacceptable (and in the way he did it too)
They all had reasons. Otherwise they wouldn't have gone. Most Dortmund fans view those departures quite the opposite, because Götze told media just weeks before his transfer was announced that he could imagine retiring at Dortmund. And Hummels was our emotional leader for the last couple of years. He wasn't on good terms with Götze's decision, either. Had something to say about Götze taking the easy way out. Now he's taking it himself.
In the end, it's just a job for all of them. As in hockey, as in every other professional sport, it's all about money and success. Doesn't mean it's not like a kick in the nuts every time something like that happens.

Gündogan to Man City confirmed by both clubs. German media say 25 m € + bonus payments.
