  1. Correct on both. Wow you're good. These guys barely played any games with VAN.
  2. You quoted the third all star team
  3. You should see the first all star team....
  4. Goldobin was terrible with Sutter, but he looked solid with the Sedins. Granlund has worked with both. Put Granny with Sutter.
  5. Yup. For example. 1978 draft. Mike Gillis 5th overall. Stan Smyl 40th overall.
  6. For Canucks drafting just look at the Gillis era. We were absolutely terrible. Barely any solid players drafted. We drafted low, but still. Terrible.
  7. No way Boeser get put in Utica. He looked way too good in VAN plus Aquilini needs to sell tickets
  8. God damn what a wrist shot
  9. You watch the WJC? And yes I understand that the WJC is just a few games and that Finland was a very weak team. WJC showed Jost and Sergachev and A.Nylander are very good prospects. Juolevi was underwhelming. Puljujarvi has 24 pts in 31 AHL games as an 18 year old, which isn't amazing but is pretty good considering age. PLD isn't looking great considering he was 3rd pick, but rest of top 10 looks quite good.
  10. Not saying we made wrong choice, just it's super hard to look at Juolevi compared to the rest of the players drafted in top 10.
  11. Ah that maybe true, but as much as I hate Kesler, he did score 41 goals once.
  12. I'm trying super hard to be optimistic about Juolevi but is anyone watching Tkachuk right now....
  13. True, it is very hard to be patient especially with the guys drafted after him . But I agree, he still has potential and he could help bolster our third line when we are good again. Hopefully his playing style when he gets to the NHL is like Hansen, tough but can make plays in both ends of the ice. Imagine if he had the drive and work ethic like Horvat.....it would be insane.
  14. For a top 5 draft pick, he should be absolutely insane in his draft plus one year. He isn't producing, or playing defensively like the highest defenseman drafted in his draft. He is progressing, but not as much as he should be. Especially compared to the players drafted AFTER him. Look at the list (Tkachuk, Keller, Sergachev, Jost, Mcleod, Kunin, McAvoy. Chychrun). I'd rather have McAvoy (14th overall) or Sergachev (9th overall) than Juolevi if we had to pick again. And that is only considering D-men. However, this one year doesn't define him, and anything can happen when he gets to AHL/NHL.
  15. I guess we don't need him anymore....Dahlen is a great prospect
