Most expected Gaudette not to be here in Utica for very long. What's mind boggling is that the canucks expect to develop these young wingers with what's left for centers.... They are not even giving these kids any chance to succeed....

It takes most of these kids at least 20-30 games to settle down and get up to speed. We are only 10 games in. It will be Thanksgiving to Xmas before these guys turn the corner.....

Gaunce is expected to play tonight vrs the amerks. I would hope Kulbakov will be in net. Will be a tough task vrs the amerks.

pretty average play so far. still looks timid, some people say he doesn't wanna be here, but I'm not seeing that. he's still not used to the speed of play and plays an outside game. He needs to add weight and muscle to be effective in this league. It will take some time.

I would think Mceneny would go before Juolevi. I don't see him as being ready. still a work in progress in his own zone. The good news is that the comets only have one game on Friday, and only 2 games next weekend. so that should provide the youngsters with lots of practice time and some games before the schedule gets busy again. Hopefully, by then, people will get healthy

Gadjovich played last night, and with all the injuries and call-ups should be in the lineup for some time. I actually had to watch for him as he does nothing to stand out. the speed of the game is simply too fast for him at this time. He is not the only youngster having that problem, Palmu and Dahlen are also not up to speed. Gadjovich is just slow and no acceleration in his skating. hardly touches the puck and when he does he usually turns it over or gets rid of it. At this point, he is the worst of the youngsters. Definitely a long-term project. hopefully, he starts using his size, but seems to not wanna engage anyone. does not play and special teams, but no surprise there. for me the most disappointing prospect this year.

He was fine. Charlotte is just way too much team for a depleted comets team. 3-1 doesn't do this game Justice. It easily could have been 6 or 7 -1. Kulbakov was outstanding.....

Pretty pathetic game tonight vrs a serious Calder cup contender. Comets were never a factor in this game. The youngsters look pretty weak .... It's obvious these kids have a long ways to go before being anywhere close to a prospect.

Hopefully, Jasek can fill one of those center rolls and Gaunce should be back soon. Kero I hope will turn the corner from is mediocre play so far. Boucher looks to be out for a while, that should allow someone a chance to slide into a spot. If I were cull I would play Jasek, Lind and Dahlen almost every game. Palmu and Gadjovich can take turns until someone turns the corner. Obviously, Archie, Macewen, Kero and Bancks look like they will play almost every game. Woods and Darcy have both been centers and seeing a lot of games. Carcone, may be the one that fills Bouchers spot for now. Just need this team to turn things around at home. The first place Checkers and Carolinas Scott Darling in net Wednesday night on a rehab assignment.

Yes it is less frustrating... We just do something else of follow a different team. Out of site, out of mind. What on earth do you think people in Abbotsford or where ever they are going to say when they put a team on the ice with a couple of ECHL centers to mentor young talent???

I agree... There will be nothing done to try and correct a glaring problem. . It more likely that Conacher will bring in a PTO if he can find someone. But that will create even more problems with all the extra bodies in Utica. So frustrating to talk about the same problem season after season....

Well the excuse I keep hearing is that top centers will take ice time away from the Canuck prized young talent. It's obviously better to have centers like Hamilton (injured) Woods and Darcy being used because it's all the coach has..... Meanwhile those same prized prospects are either on the bench or siting in the stands... Really never understood that thought process.... Did people really think Lind. Palmu and Gadjovich (ie) comprise a power play line????? Now you have an ineffective pp and the prospects are struggling to play let alone succeed....

Tanner Kero is just a complete disappointment so far. not very good at much of anything... Wins some faceoffs, has a good pass here and there, Dosent control play all that much. Just a total downgrade in every aspect from Chaput. I'm hoping he hasn't settled in yet, the trade plus a early training camp cut probably has him in a tail spin. Sometimes it take 20-30 games for these guys to adjust and settle in. He's never been a goal scorer and he's got over 70 NHL games, but I am sure he's a better player than what we have seen so far. The rotating linemates do not help. He needs to find chemistry with someone and get some set linemates. Darcy is basically a clone of Kero... Neither has a shot, and neither is a player that is going to excite fans or add any physical elements. Darcy is a poor center who should be a reserve on most teams or in the ECHL. And this is the comets main problem. No centers to drive the offense, control the puck and set up linemates. Macmaster is probably our best with Gaudette gone. And he's a small player who is easily separated from the puck. Too many plugs signed To mentor the young wingers whom at times look lost themselves.. It's pretty sad ...... The Comets are suffering the same problems as the past two seasons.......

Macmaster. Is on an AHL contract.... But unfortunately is one of about 4 guys on the team capable of carrying the puck up the ice..... The team has 65 wingers and at this time a bunch of plugs for centers......

Other than 3-4 guys, this is a pretty soft team. Arsenault is the only fighter, but can do little else. Macewen and Archie will hit, but Archie pretty much avoids fights now. Woods will hit also. The rest are pretty soft except for that new biega guy..... They certainly do not intimidate any teams coming in. Young guys like lind and Dahlen are beyond soft..... But both looked more noticeable tonight. Palmu was in and accomplished little, Gadjovich played according to the box score and was completely unnoticeable....... Cause I know I did notice him. Sifers needs to retire.... Way too slow..

Demko is still in concussion protocol. We do not expect him for a few weeks. Biega should be here this weekend. Both Gaunce and Hamilton practiced in Red no contact jerseys and will not play vrs Rochester tonight.

The report I heard is he will possibly here for the weekend....

Comets complete the sweep over the banged up marlies and 3rd- 4th string goalies. Back home for games vrs Rochester and Cleveland Wednesday and Friday....

When Dosent he score.... What an insane start to the season......

Unfortunately that is all he will bring... The rest of his tool bench is pretty bare....... He's on a ahl contract....

I don't think it makes any sense for the Canucks to move until Seattle does something. They will need to make their decision based on where the Seattle AHL team goes if at all.
