Canada was impressive against the Americans. They could make a run for it this year. Although it will be hard to beat that Russian team considering how badly they just spanked Sweden

Don’t watch the WC that often but I’ve been tuning in more than usual. Gotta love the Brits. They have some awesome fans, and they showed a ton of character of coming back and beating France like that.
Also, that death stare from Petey after he scored. Lol!

I do not have much respect for Kesler especially after how he left, plus all the nonsense he does on and off the ice. So part of me is glad he did not and will likely never win a big championship.
However, it sucks that this had to be the only option left for him to keep playing. I will be a bigger person and Wish him well.

Bruins up 2-0 on the Canes, could be over fast
Close series that is even between the Blues and Sharks
Some exciting action and games at the World Hockey Championships

Let’s go Raptors!
I have no trouble rooting for the Raptors nor the Blue Jays, but the Leafs... NEVER

Benn would be an awesome acquisition but we’d have to give up something big in return like Horvat.
That AINT happening yo.

The Sharks are fortunate to even still be here. Should have been eliminated in Round One, but no use whining about it now.
Hoping the Blues can knock these losers out. Blues in 7. But I haven’t predicted a single outcome correctly so I’ll likely be wrong!

Clearly you haven’t thought of Edmonton? They have been in a rebuild for over a decade and will probably be again for another one.
Or Buffalo? How does one have Eichel, Dahlin, Skinner etc and still fail as much as they do?
Jim got us a generational player at #5, a 30-40 goal potential goal scorer at #23, an elite potential defenceman at #7 and and future # 1 goaltender at #36 and another at #64.
This is all without any Top 3 picks. So yeah, you can lay off. Jim is doing a swell job.

Aw man, I’ll miss the Poo-a-lot jokes, but definitely not his brain dead giveaways. I have never seen a defenceman who made me actually physically hit my own head against the wall in frustration and there have been some bad ones in our franchise.
Guess we need to finding a new whipping boy?

Wow what happened Isles???
Credit it the Canes. But I don’t know if they can beat CBJ (the way their special teams is going) or Boston (big and experienced). But then again I haven’t predicted a single round correctly so yeah...

We as fans may have disagreed with him at times and bashed his articles, but in the end we are all human. Terribly sad he passed at such a young age. My condolences to his family.

Avs are a young skilled team. They kind of remind me of the Canucks, except a bit ahead. I can see us having some good battles with them in the upcoming years.

Avs hold on. That was dicey

Burns again... and Doughty says he isn’t that good?

Ah bugger. Burns can sure shoot

Series should be tied. Canes were unbelievably lucky this game. Should not have won that.
Isles need to win the next game or that could be all she wrote.

Canes have gotten really lucky these last few games. Seems the Canuck luck is rubbing off on the Isles

I’m pulling for the Isles but I wouldn’t be disappointed to see the Canes go on. Gotta love their work ethic. Rod is from Campbell River which is close to my hood!

If Laffs fans are moaning about Reilly being snubbed by the Norris, they should really be looking at Seth Jones. That guy is a beast.

The WHC have been fun to watch this year. What a beautiful goal by Petey.
All our hopes are on Canada. I’m impressed with how they’ve battled their way to the semis with a pretty weak roster by Canadian standards. That was a thriller over the Swiss. Mark Stone is crazy good, as is Dubois. If Canada gets to play Russia in the gold medal match, they may be able to beat them if they play their best. Need to beat the Czechs first though. Let’s go Canada!
