    No... Even if you drafted him now with PIT only paying him a portion of his deal, you would still be charged with the aav of his full contract. Real life salary retention on contracts have no effect

    Biggest change was captaincy boosts being lowered 365 day boost dropped from 10% to 7.5% 1000 day boost dropped from 15% to 10% The others were just small fixes/additions to CBA

    There was a concern brought up about a potential contract dispute regarding players with retained salaries. If a player has an aav of $8M, but a team is only being charged $5M aav due to salary retention, you will be charged the full $8M aav of their contract. Hope I worded that correctly, and questions feel free to ask on discord or the official GFL thread. Thanks
