I was SERIOUSLY considering taking Clarke at 3 over Hughes.. But Hughes was my #1 target all year, even attempting to trade up and get him at 1 just incase. If it wasn't for Clarke, chances are I would have paid the hefty price to move uo from 3 to 1

Have to agree. When I backed out mid season PO was the guy that rried real hard to keep me from leaving. Hes a really good guy, and think he got a little crabby over those early picks Hope he comes back!

Think JB is finally learning the answer to his draft day question

We are very pleased with our 2021 draft class. We got our #1 target Luke Hughes, #14 guy Simon Robertsson at 36, #20 guy Ville Koivunen at 46, and #32 ranked guy Prokhor Poltapov at #68. So if my scouting is good, we got ourselves 4 1st round picks Missed a few late targets, but feel we got ourselves some solid prospects in the later rounds as well. Wong being there at 117 was huge, as I believe he was #50 on my board. We feel very good about this draft class, and really look forward to watching them develop! Also HUGE shoutout to @canuck2xtreme and @Rush17 for their hard work! It was a fun draft! (minus my power going out )

With the Maple Leafs final pick, we feel we can target a guy that we feel has a VERY high ceiling, but at the same time, comes with a lot of risk. Maple Leaf would like to select Owen Murray Prove the doubters wrong kid, we believe in you!
