The asset that got away. It blows my mind how we weren't relocated for waiving him. :sadno:

And honestly. I can't think of any other poopy players. It's 12 am on Christmas. Cut me some slack. LOL.

    Jordan Schroeder? XD

Have to admit Eriksson had a not bad game:P, for real though he played great.  Obviously a huge win.  TBH I thought Bo's goal shouldn't of counter, TS though.

Yeah he looked great on that empty netter with no defense back, great showcase of skill lol :bigblush:

    From the post-game interviews:

"Just embarrassing," Oilers forward Zack Kassian said. "A team like that should not be beating a team like ours 4-2, there's absolutely no way."

I honestly can't tell if the OP is joking or not.  He often does makes funny jokes - but this ones not funny.  Kudos on a proposal that dumps LE.   But I'd take him out of this deal if this was the price.   No thanks to Hall, even if re-signs our team will regret the cap hit.   Keller and OEL are the key pieces in the deal - trading EP and Demko straight across has some merit because we don't have a defenseman like him.  But he's no spring chicken anymore and doesn't match the cores age well.   Keller would be a welcome addition for sure - a playmaking winger ...

Stil wouldn't do it.   EPs on his second year and already in the top ten as far as centres go league wide...incredible - that is equally as important as a top pairing D unless he's a Norris type.

Why would we do this in a million years?   Plus if ARI is in a win now mode why the heck would they do it?  Halls a rental (for now)...and he's igniting OEL already (who's had a slow start).

This is definitely a blockbuster.  But it's also a head scratcher - ARI is five years ahead of us, they already traded guys from their last "core" in Faulk and things are finally going well for them.   They need to tweak not blow it up.

For us well if we trade away our number one future super-star center - we need an equal player back - OR picks and prospects galore added.   Like straight across for Keller add two firsts, two seconds and a pick of any one prospect.   Trading EP straight across for Keller and OEL might do it.   Even then I'm not sure it's a good move for us long term.

Good analysis and thanks for not trolling like scheif16 and others. Definitely a lot of good points to consider in your post!

And if you had read further I talked about bullying might be the wrong word in that situation.

Loui is bullied here but I let him and Green deal with that.

Loui did the harm between him and Green by himself.

The fans should back the players independant of who they are.

It's all about understanding. The brightest understand me even when my english fail me...

I didn't say anything about your english, bro. And Loui isn't "bullied" by anyone.

Another one stuck in the past.

Are you and Coastal the same?

Please, explain what I said about bullying?

It's always interesting to see the level of understanding. :bigblush:

You claimed that players like Loui and Pouliot/Gudbranson were bullied because they were criticized for their underwhelming on-ice performances.

So I wouldn't really start off on how well other people "understand" things lol

Only 5 points and a -9 in the AHL in 13 games. 1 point and a -8 in 17 games in the NHL.

I don't know what he expects, but those aren't exactly numbers that scream NHL player. He's still young, but I wouldn't be willing to cough up whatever it would take to land him. Between throwing his silver medal into the crown last year and this, the guy really seems like he has an attitude problem.

And now we wait for @Timråfan to come and defend him.

Ahh that was the silver medal guy!

Yeah, he's probably just a -9 because Travis Green doesn't play Loui Eriksson in the right role. You're right. :bigblush:

If you look a little deeper it gets interesting. His first season with Rangers/Hartford as 18/19 years old he did ok.

    What happened later?

So predictable lol. I guess Andersson is another victim of "player bullying" :emot-parrot:
